Morph Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 I dont think Saltz is one of the favourites in the takeover stakes , he may be a runner but not one of the favourites. My money is on the Trust and fan led consortium  ?????????? Plus one of those surprised icon things !!! Kindest Regards and respect to Derry for the heart that he has felt and shown. Much respect Regards Morph
DT Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 Certainly the use of "suited" seems to suggest someone with a footballing or more specific Saints/local connection IMO. Or someone in a suit.

Mole Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 typical smarmy politician, slip under a snakes belly that bloke It's been 12 years since Jimmy Goldsmith and his apprentice - a certain Rupert Lowe - destroyed the Tory partys election chances when Mawhinney was chairman. He will have enjoyed today and that stupid smug grin spoke volumes. Mawhinney is loving it.

Dark Munster Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Was also on Radio hampshire and a second party is going into due dillegence tomorrow. Hmm.... takeover on Friday then? So all those rumours over the last 2 years may have been correct after all.
NickG Posted 24 April, 2009 Author Posted 24 April, 2009 Fry on solent this morning said the council may not be needed to buy the stadium now - only a back up - sounds positive if the buyers want that as well
SaintRobbie Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Fry on solent this morning said the council may not be needed to buy the stadium now - only a batck up - sounds positive if the buyers want that as well Yes. I really am not worried. Honestly everyone who is flapping that the club wont exist in a couple of weeks are panicking when its is simply not necessary. People have been wanting to buy this club for years. The the foolish thing we ever did was refusing to sell it last summer - we will pay for allowing Lowe back with relegation.
Eastcowzer Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 -10 points for Saints = no counter-claims from Forest, Barnsley, etc should Saints avoid the drop. Eaty your heart out Pontius Pilate Mawhinny
