Bailey Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5223982,00.html We need to sign Mills on a long-term contract. He's definitely got potential and would be our first-choice left-back next season in my opinion. Shows just how far we have fallen when a youngster could opt to join Scunny over Saints!
Bailey Posted 23 April, 2009 Author Posted 23 April, 2009 Also confirmation from Martinez that Swansea are looking to sign Dyer permanently before the end of the season. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5227047,00.html
OldNick Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 this going into administration is fun isnt it? The spiral into despair is speeding up

We are in administration! We can't sign anybody on a long term contract. If bloody David Beckham offered to play for us at £100 a week, we'd have to say no. Until we get a new owner we are pretty much at the mercy of any club who wants any of our players. K.

Sorry to be pendantic but SLH are in administration, the club has very little money but are still solvent.
Harry Faz Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 Also confirmation from Martinez that Swansea are looking to sign Dyer permanently before the end of the season. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5227047,00.html story states they are offering £200k, didnt we reject £500k earlier this season? Cant blame Swansea, but hopefully with new owners in soon, we can tell them where to go with their£200k
John B Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 Sad days It does not say he is going to sign for S****horpe but he may if he does not get a conract here

Gingeletiss Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 Sorry to be pendantic but SLH are in administration, the club has very little money but are still solvent. You can keep telling them........but they're not listening.
OldNick Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 You can keep telling them........but they're not listening.you are of course right
Gingeletiss Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 you are of course right And you are as always............completely wrong. IMHO of course.
ottery st mary Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 Fine somebody at the club loans out Mills to save money but Molyneaux is brought in on higher wages....Strange business....Mills will make his mind up if and when contracts are offered....Don't rule out Newcastle with his brother possibly moving there from Doncaster.....Mind you Newcastle might be in CCC next year.
OldNick Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 And you are as always............completely wrong. IMHO of course. Yep administration for SLH has been a good thing hasn't it Lol
insertfunnyname Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 Skacel will be off - surprised it took him this long considering every window he's linked with a german club. Got to keep Mills and with the promise of 1st team football and the example of how McG has got into the top 50 best young players in the world (according to the Times) by staying and playing we should be able to.......hopefully. Jurys still out on the scouse lad - heard he had two big knee operations at everton and wonder if we signed him based on his form before those ops - wouldn't surprise me.
Chez Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 No worries, Rudi is better anyway. debatable IMO and see how long before Rudi is begging someone to come and save him from tier 3 football. IMO the club made a major **** up signing Molyneux when we had Mills already at the club. If we had given Mills as much rope as we gave James then we'd have a fine youg left back on our hands right now instead of a overhyped diving waver and a Everton youth reject.
londonsaint1604 Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 I doubt Rudi will be with us much longer. I agree about Molyneux, that was a pointless signing.
Ken Tone Posted 23 April, 2009 Posted 23 April, 2009 Sorry to be pendantic but SLH are in administration, the club has very little money but are still solvent. Fair point, and one we must indeed keep making in the forlorn hope that the FL will believe us. ;-) However the administrator of SLH will be telling the directors of SFC, most of whom he has appointed, that they cannot spend *any* unnecessary money, because if he did otherwise he would be neglecting his duty as an administrator. K.

Bit harsh on the other 2 but I agree entirely about Mills. He shows real promise, as did his brother. K.
