Iowsaintsfan Posted 23 April, 2009 Share Posted 23 April, 2009 (edited) Derby, i was going to say Reading but i nearly lost my car and spent over an hour running round reading trying to find where i parked! especially as the car park closed 30 mins after the game! The worst has to be Palace, went with a palace fan too which made it twice as bad Sheff Utd on that cold night in october wasnt much better either - though 1 think that sticks in my mind from that game was a guy behind me said "we may only have 4 fans here but least we are making some noise!" lol Edited 23 April, 2009 by Iowsaintsfan

the saint in winchester Posted 23 April, 2009 Share Posted 23 April, 2009 Has to be READING! I worl on Green park, right next to Majdeski stadium and was getting banter in the week leading up to the game. I went to the game with some fear (this was when Reading always won at home) and had a whale of a time than to BWP's finest ever game! Boy, did I get some stick back in the week after! It must be a happy hunting ground as I see the Reserves whopped them 3-1 up here yesterday. Why aren't the OS making good with that? Gasmi scored two, playing behind the main striker. Wayne Thomas played 45 mins and came off unscathed. Lots of positives. Shame we won't be playing them next season!
dickyhale Posted 23 April, 2009 Share Posted 23 April, 2009 Reading and Watford enjoyed these two
oldsarum Posted 23 April, 2009 Share Posted 23 April, 2009 Preston without a doubt was best, had great night out before in Lancaster, and like many present had given up any hope when Preston scored their second just before half -time but the second half comeback combined with last minute winner, plus all the goals being scored at our end made it a great awayday, and who can forget Kelvin running the length of the field to join in the celebrations when we scored the winner. Reading was also top notch dayout, and I really enjoyed Donny and Derby too.
LGTL Posted 23 April, 2009 Share Posted 23 April, 2009 Ipswich was a good away day too. Totally unexpected result for the 300 or so mere mortals up there, and really thought we would stay up after that...
Appy Posted 23 April, 2009 Share Posted 23 April, 2009 Reading for performance. Bristol City or Watford for day out.
