Scu, if you are seriously offering to create a programme can you get steve grant to send us all an e-mail addy for our CV's please?

It would be great I reckon and if done quickly we could sell a bit of advertising, might I suggest that Goodies Fish and Chip shops merit a free full page ad for their fantastic deeds last weekend too?

Would they wish to have an advert showing what their product has done to our young men who are trying to run around SMS, i would have thought it was a negative.

Good idea though and they deserve it.

Someone would surely be able to obtain a proper 'exclusive' interview with a former or current player thus making the edition collectible praps?

Yep, who can we get? It seems my side is full of former players who are trying to be current players

The step up from a five-a-side (30m x 17.5m pitch) to six-a-side (50m x 30m) was surprisingly painful! On the plus side a quick check on google maps revealed St Mary's pitch to only be about 110m x 76m! *shudder*

I expect most of my crosses to be coming from deep within the half...and St Kenny to be exposed in a way that only a full back who has played with Ryan Smith could possibly understand!

However i will translate that to the positive. I will be providing an outlet on the left wing...and playing pinpoint through balls...

You are only playing 45minutes as well!

Looks like I have my work cut out.

In the unlikely event of a draw would there be a penalty shoot-out?

In the possibly more unlikely event of someone getting a hattrick would they be able to keep the match ball?

lol think we should do that (really old) one on one from the 35 yard line that the once upon a time US footie league used to have.

Nickh to go first he has 1hr 42 minutes to make his shot

The club cannot afford a match ball but if it's a home team player they get double Jaegerbombs

Scud

are you organising this then - what do you want or need from us?

I am working on it as we speak! I think player profiles are going to be unlikely on the basis that we've struggled to get sock sizes out of some members! However i would like a paragraph or two from both of our gaffers. And maybe if people feel they have something interesting to add we can look at it. I'll make the PDF available once i've got something together to make sure everyone's happy before i go to print!

The basic form will be as follows:

1) Cover page

2) Home team page including managers notes and team extras

3) Away team page including managers notes and team extras

4) Team line up including first scorer odds, team numbers positions etc.

I'm open to suggestions of course...but i can't promise the lamer ones will make it in i'm afraid!

Surely we don't need our shoe sizs includede anyway, just name, DOB and honours. I do think photos are a must, and if you (or Syeve) e-mail everyone within the next couple o days those who don't respond/reply are peft out. I think it will be fun and look forward to getting mine signed by everyone.

Okay we'll do it...anyone failing to provide the necessary information will be subject to the flights of my imagination...

Phil, are we required to turn up smartly dressed, being the home team n all ;)

Nice idea. A dark suit, white shirt and red tie would make us all feel right posh as we walk in.

But if you want to feel like a real footballer then a shell suit, plenty of Bling and of course an Ipod rammed into your ears....

(Think the suits a better idea but not compulsory!)

I think the managers should have a pen shoot out in the case of a draw...or perhaps not

My team will of course turn up in a lovely coach, my future son in law works for Wilts and Dorset and so I'll get him to borrow one of theirs when the gates are closed at night. ...I have just spoken to him and he went and nicked 1 last night. I was furious as it was the no 2 and that stops in hill lane and so my team will be knackered if they have to walk that far.

Surprise surprise, just over a week to go and a rather major headache has developed...

Long story short, the club have sold all the adult-sized grey shirts, so there aren't any left for us (despite having reserved them a month ago, and the people involved at the club read the forum on a daily basis).

As a result, they have offered us last season's yellow shirts instead. We're not in a position to turn this down for several reasons, so that's what we're going to have to go with.

Needless to say, I'm not overly happy with the situation, but not a great deal I can do about it, sadly. Due to the timescales involved (and the lack of likelihood of acquiring yellow shorts/socks ), we'll stick with the grey shorts/socks combination for the away kit.

This is an outrage and smells of a dirty tricks campaign.Yellow shirts and grey shorts just does not work and I can see real unrest in my teams camp.It will look naff in the photos.

Not happy about this.I think the club should donate a full set of shorts to match the shirts as it will look poor and the team who are trooping out onto the pitch will lose a little of the nights experience as the spectators will be taking the rip.

ffs, what sizes are the away shirts?, i do have on myself already though, and can;t we see if we can get yellow socks and shorts?

would everyone be up for that, or yellow shirts with blue shorts and socks?

See what the club has, they might still have yellow shorts and socks from last season, if not then we can sort something out. It's a bit annoying that they told us (Baj and Steve) that we'll have grey away shirts and then tell them that they've got nothing....

as long as we can have a good lookibg kit it wud be quite nice after stumping up all this money, but don;t mind spending a bit more to have a proper kit providing we can agree on something.

Of course I understand, I'm not too fused what we wear but you want things to match. Hopefully the club have got some spares from last season, they may well have, I'm sure someone can contact them to see?
