One thing for sure we would have the best facilities in the blue square premier !

Best ground, best academy, best catering..................;)

I think next season it will be 11 from 13 and jumpers for goal posts and nobody allowed on the pitch unless they have paid their subs!!

Before anyone thinks this sort of thing can't happen, check out Halifax Town...or is that FC Halifax Town...once League 2, then Blue square, all of a sudden Unibond...

But we'll be saved from that, won't we...please...

Aldershot (Town), Newport County, Maidstone United etc. all of whom went during the last recession in the late 80s/early 90s, but all of whom were never much more than Associate Members of the FL - it's the warnings about a "big club" going that have been around for at least 25 years that we should be concerned about.

Surely the Whole point of financial irregularities is to keep keep money in the kitty! Bit we have none so must be clean?

If the irregularity is running a company to skim off millions of quid for private gain then a club loses both ways.

And I am not suggesting that's what happened, God forbid I turn into one of those people who thinks there was some kind of illegal personal profit motive behind everything in the last 13 years.

Don't want that Arse shaving bloke he's a lazy bastard ;-)

But a 4 goal lazy bastard all the same, like Gerd Muller, appeared to be the laziest footballer on this planet, one of the leading goal scorers.Just always there when he needed to be, sod tracking back and defending.

Football has changed a bit since the 1970s. Maybe Arshavin's defensive deficiencies were part of the cause of Arsenal conceding 4 goals as well ?

I'd probably take him over McGoldrick though.

No I think their defence is fairly deficient without his help, that AbuDabbi is absolute bollix.

I can't see this posted anywhere else but did anyone see the headline in 'The Non-League Paper' this weekend?

Headline was 'Saints Alive' (which caught my attention) and there was a big piece on the fact the BSP chairman had been sounded out about a re-formed Saints playing in the league (although he said it was no-one at the club)

He said he's be delighted if we did and there was something from Widderington and Nick Holmes saying how it would be great but sad too.

So this might have some legs? It seems FL rules are that new clubs have to start only two divisions beloew the league they were in when they go bust.

Sorry if posted elsewhere but if the worst were to happen this seems like we might be able to savalge something... I suppose a lot would depend on what happens with SMS but still...
