No surprise with Kelvin's exclusion. WIthout him, Svensson or Perry we're going to be a bit lightweight at the back. But then I don't expect a win anway unless Birmingham really aren't up for it - they have a very good squad and I fully expect them to walk away with the Championship this season.

Just play decent football and avoid humilation and I'll be happy. 3-1 to Brum.

You're okay - I'm within touching distance of forty, short sighted with dodgy knees and a bad back. Don't think I'm going to get my call up papers any time soon :)

I think we will lose 2-1 (again) I just cant see them not scoring, they have goals from all over their squad..

I can see us making 3-4 changes tonight...with other subs getting a run out..

and to be honest, I could not care if we go out tonght...Saturday is the biggy for me...

1-1 with a loss on penalties, but I'd love to see us win it in normal time. I just don't see Birmingham wanting the Carling Cup enough. Perhaps it's just me...

Depends heavily on how strong Brums teams gonna be but i dont think well win: 0-2 Brum

Well in answer to that, their squad whilst not the strongest they could put out is certainly good enough and shows that they at least have a strong interest in this competition.

Anyway see for yourselves http://www.blues.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10412~1375975,00.html

As someone else said above a solid performance with neat fluent positive football will do me.

I think the Blues will still be a little too strong for us but here's hoping.

Saints 1 Brum 2
