wheels Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 Should the unlikely happen and we somehow manage to beat Burnley on Sat and Forest lose to Blackpool, do our players have the bottle to go to Forest on the last day and get 3 points? Yes or No??
ericofarabia Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 I beleive that Burley took it with him wrapped up in a brown paper bag (allegedly )
dubai_phil Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 I beleive that Burley took it with him wrapped up in a brown paper bag (allegedly ) lol coffee on monitor moment Either that or we drank it at Rock Bottom!
Saints foreva Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 No, they would yet again let down the fans and not give a sh!t about it.

Micky Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 Bottle, errrr after some of the 'must win' performances we have seen.... confidence is probably shot to pieces and most of them are probably dreading match days..... No worry though - the experience will stand them in good stead for next year.... Bottle - yeah, right....
ottery st mary Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 Is there a Message in that bottle or will the team have a Sting in their tail...Call the Police to take me away..Too many bottles of Brown Ale on these Long Sumner days.. Gordon Bennett. Go Home ottery.
Minsk Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 I would like to think so, but sincerely doubt it. I also sincerely doubt that we will get no know, as I don't think we will beat Burnley or that Forest will lose to Blackpool. :-(
lee_saint Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 I have a feeling we will beat Burnley, although, I can't see Forest losing to Blackpool and even so, Norwich are still there.
wheels Posted 20 April, 2009 Author Posted 20 April, 2009 I have a feeling we will beat Burnley, although, I can't see Forest losing to Blackpool and even so, Norwich are still there. And I think they will beat Reading at home and lose on the final day to a Charlton side who have no pressure. Barnsley will still be in the mix as well. FWIW I don't think the player's have the ******** (or ability) to win the last two games.

rick1976.4.38 Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 id like to think your having a laugh but i know u r hoping, ill put you out of your misery,NO CHANCE,FOREST HAVE WHAT IT TAKES IN THE MANAGER B,DAVIS.WE HAVE THE DUTCHMAN WHO HAS NOTHING,JUST LIKE THE PLAYERS,HELLO LEAGUE 1.OUR LOT OUR GUTLESS,SPINELESS AND USELESS,COYR
londonsaint1604 Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 That would be very interesting, as going by games this season where the pressure has been on them and everyone said we have to win this one, I would say no we'll probably lose 3-0. However, if it really is a genuine make or break game they might respond differently and actually come out fighting. A bit like last season - even when it looked like we could go down they still played **** until the last game when it really counted (with the exception of bristol city).
Horley CTFC Saint Posted 20 April, 2009 Posted 20 April, 2009 Should the unlikely happen and we somehow manage to beat Burnley on Sat and Forest lose to Blackpool, do our players have the bottle to go to Forest on the last day and get 3 points? Yes or No?? Given the extremely and somewhat premature negative comment of our manager following the Wednesday result "we need a miracle" - it doesn't seem very likely does it?!
