FM09 - quick question

How do you re-train players into new positions?

 

Would quite like to convert Lallana into a solid right-midfielder as I don't have any funds to sign a new player.

 

Any ideas? Cheers in advance.

1) Click on Lallana's profile

 

2) On the left hand panel click on training

 

3) In the info page there is a drop down box for new position

 

4) Depending on the players age, current ability in that position and other hidden stats it can take a few weeks or months to change position.

I saw someone on t'internet post a screenshot having trained Cristiano Ronaldo as a striker for United, he scored something absolutely ridiculous like 58 goals in a season for them. So changing positions about can be beneficial..

On FM07 (which I play on my girlfriend's computer as it's not powerful enough for FM09), I trained Gareth Bale into an attacking midfielder (left). Bloody brilliant he was.
