badgerx16 Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 I suppose that after today the last two games will pale into insignificance as the club faces up to the most important fight it's ever had - to survive, regardless of which league we might be in.
Window Cleaner Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 You would think that the fact it was a must win game,we would at least have had a go today and gone for it. The fact that their keeper has hardly made a save says it all about the current incumbents in the starting XI. Ah this penchant for "must win" games. Doncaster,Forest and Watford at home were "mustn't lose" games. Charlton was the must win game, but we lost and all the rest was just academic detail.
brightspark Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Oddly, I feel little pain compared to what I felt when missing out in 2005. In fact less pain than the penalty failure at Derby in 2007. I guess the club have been so sh*te, it has resigned us all to think the club is sh*te, and a lot of the fans may be like me, and find little passion due to basically "giving up"
Legod Third Coming Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I can't help but think what might have been had Pearson been in charge this season . . . He would almost certainly have got us playing with a lot more fight and passion that we've seen this season. At least Lowe's not to blame though.
Micky Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Can someone point me in the direction of the Itchen bridge? You cant miss it - there's a queue, and the Samaritans are directing people to the highest point for the best jump position.....
SaintRobbie Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 2-0 ... hate it when my head gets it right... my heart said 3-0 Saints. We're doooomed. Still we knew that in May last year so most of us have come to terms with it already!
qwertySFC Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Player of the year so many great performances to choose from, Surman, Smith, Wotton, BWP, Euell, DMG, Lallana. How shall it be? Anthony Pulis gets my vote
badgerx16 Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Can someone point me in the direction of the Itchen bridge? It's the one with the loop of rope hanging off it, with the label 'Reserved for RL'.
Under Weststand Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 This is just So bad I just feel completely numb can't even get angry about them anymore. This club needs a total overhaul just hope there's someone out there who has the money & prepared to do it. If were still here next year it will be another long haul with an expected 10 point penalty to start. Just can't see a glimmer at the moment feel so Low excuse the pun. B**lox's
Bakovnetski Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 We've had the look of death since January and so it has come to pass. Amen and goodnight...
Window Cleaner Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 lol! Might be, if we do get automatic relegation and the League don't dock us points it would be hard to convince me that we haven't cut a deal with them and all that's gone on since is mere theatrics.
niceandfriendly Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 wish I hadn't bought notts forest tickets now - hate to say it
exit2 Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Im sat here thinking why am I not angry or upset about it. Have I given up?
Bakovnetski Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Some day soon it would be nice to have nothing to play for on the last day of the season knowing we are safe.
lamanga Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Do we even really deserve to stay up? Not on your life we don't
Iowsaintsfan Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Can someone point me in the direction of the Itchen bridge? Take 1 noose and pass it on
Bailey Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 Well, on the bright side, at least Wotte won't be here next season, assuming there is a next season of course. Pretty much a brand new playing squad, a new manager, new owners, and a new division with a load of new away days. Clutching at straws?
