Durleyfos Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 I saw a programme on teh Discovery Channel on Slovenian miners, and they can't get enough of it, aparently.
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 April, 2009 Author Posted 17 April, 2009 also, the process in which TID (as i will abbreviate it to) was created brought about the discovery of quantum thermodynamics.
bridge too far Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 I think one of the major political parties should have the compulsory ingestion of TID as part of its manifesto.

bridge too far Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 I thought it was Marie Rose, not Mary Rose :smt102
SNSUN Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 I once invented a sauce which was effectively mayonaise and tomato sauce mixed together. I called it Pink Paste and was going to patent it until someone told me that it was effectively just Thousand Island dressing, which already existed! Twas the most popular of the sauces (aside from Mayo) on the salad cart in the Harvester when I worked there age 16.
Jillyanne Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 Boil some pasta, let it cool, add tuna and sweetcorn. Cut some red peppers, add this stuff you speak off, job done.

(add a squeeze of lemon) We need a cookery forum.
saint lard Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 I thought it was Marie Rose, not Mary Rose :smt102 You are of course correct,i used the "mary" ,ever since a particular well known chef i worked for made this error on a menu,he was mocked by many at rather large and prestigous eaterie. Brought back good memories.
