Saint Bones Posted 25 August, 2008 Posted 25 August, 2008 Evening All. Just a quick ask for opinions on Jamie's inclusion ( Suprising for me ) for the game against Derby ? Only got the game call via a bad internet connection and keen on peoples thoughts ?

Got back and defended and made jay mceveley look like a mug.
Berkhamsted Saint Posted 25 August, 2008 Posted 25 August, 2008 I thought that Jamie White was excellent against Derby. I think he will be an automatic choice ahead of Jake Thompson.
Thedelldays Posted 25 August, 2008 Posted 25 August, 2008 being honest, I dont know anything about him..on the radio theu said he has bundles of pace..... how quick is this fella..is he a small lad does he have tricks etc???
thegaffer Posted 25 August, 2008 Posted 25 August, 2008 Hes not big but loads of pace and aggresive.. Knows where the net is as well
Andy_Porter Posted 25 August, 2008 Posted 25 August, 2008 being honest, I dont know anything about him..on the radio theu said he has bundles of pace..... how quick is this fella..is he a small lad does he have tricks etc??? Short with a very low centre of gravity and was strong on the ball for someone of his stature. He had quite a few tricks and some of his short passing was superb, quick as well although not quite Dyer speed.
Dannyboy_Saint Posted 25 August, 2008 Posted 25 August, 2008 Hopefully he'll get a run out again tomorrow.
Iowsaintsfan Posted 26 August, 2008 Posted 26 August, 2008 Hes from Harefield Will explain him being so fast!
ottery st mary Posted 26 August, 2008 Posted 26 August, 2008 and having a low centre of gravity.... A future star.
Saint Martini Posted 26 August, 2008 Posted 26 August, 2008 and having a low centre of gravity.... A future star. He doesn't really walk on all fours like a hare though. But reading matchreports White had a decent game and in contrast to Dyer and Thomson he does have a good final ball. Maybe he's just a bit more mature in his play.
Bon Call Night Posted 26 August, 2008 Posted 26 August, 2008 Short with a very low centre of gravity and was strong on the ball for someone of his stature. He had quite a few tricks and some of his short passing was superb, quick as well although not quite Dyer speed. Probably sums him up best, he is like Dyer with a brain and balls. A brain to know when to do it, and the balls to take people on unlike Dyer. Still young, but as with most of the kids has the ability and now needs to learn to put it in a 90 minute package. I think we will see him an Thomson alternating for this position to give them a rest - this is a physical league and we need to ensure the players stay mentally fresh as well. I am just impressed with all the kids - we knew they were winning eveerything at there age level but to take that confidence into the senior game shows the likes of Prost and the bloke that went to Liverpool and Henderson have prepared them well.
Matthew Le God Posted 26 August, 2008 Posted 26 August, 2008 in contrast to Dyer and Thomson he does have a good final ball. Im sorry but Jake Thomson is one of the best crossers of the ball I've seen in a long time!
Gis Posted 26 August, 2008 Posted 26 August, 2008 Im sorry but Jake Thomson is one of the best crossers of the ball I've seen in a long time! And he's happy both to cross early, or take it to the line before putting great balls in.
