for_heaven's_Saint Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 who didn't manage to get travel club? I've had my match ticket for ages but still none the wiser as to how i'm going to get there. All the train prices i've seen have been really expensive, anyone know of a cheap route? Cheers
Saint_clark Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 If you leave three days ago you should be able to walk to the ground in time.
Smirking_Saint Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 Cheap route ?? No matter what route you take it's f*cking miles away !!! Drive someone else, get them to pay for petrol.... sorted
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 17 April, 2009 Author Posted 17 April, 2009 Drive I would but i don't have a car at the moment
Nineteen Canteen Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 I might ask our No 1 fan for a lift. Its a 3 hour drive so what better way to while away the time to discuss the 2 million things (Sorry a 3rd of 6 million) I would like to talk about. I could also ask our resident legend what he thinks of the recent rows over MPs expenses and if they do enough to warrant their expenses every year. They would no doubt appreciate my company as they don't appear to have much to talk about and don't even discuss club issues allegedly as Legend had no idea the club was in such a perilious situation. Perhaps No 1 fan was worried about client confidentiality.

Neil Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 If you're heading up from Gloucestershire grab a lift with Rupes. As a fan, he'll be going no doubt...

Mole Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 National express are doing the trip for £35.90. Not that i'd entertain the idea personally.
hamster Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 Hire a minibus and become the new Clive Foley. They were much fun if memory serves me right. These are a good bunch and £50 a day is bloody cheap imho, you could even make a few beer tokens for your trouble: http://www.a2bhire.co.uk/our_location.asp mention StuRomseySaint for preferential treatment, but be quick.

um pahars Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 I might ask our No 1 fan for a lift. He'd have to hire a mini bus to get you and all your alter egos in
ItchenRob Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 who didn't manage to get travel club? I've had my match ticket for ages but still none the wiser as to how i'm going to get there. All the train prices i've seen have been really expensive, anyone know of a cheap route? Cheers It won't help you now but for future reference* booking trains as far in advance as possible is a good idea. I have a got a return for around £40 (potentially could have got it cheaper if I had got my finger out) *looking on the bright side !
