JonnyLove Posted 16 April, 2009 Share Posted 16 April, 2009 If your going to get one for xp don't get an SSD as it will be dog slow. Although saying that if your just going to surf then get a linux one anyway as they are super fast. (got one at christmas for the little lady). Have to say been very impressed with the Acer Aspire One so well worth it. Or for an extra £10 you can get a new Linux one. Really just comes down to what you want it to do. Weston Super Saint Posted 16 April, 2009 Share Posted 16 April, 2009 thought so, just needed it confirming to me They are good, but pretty small. If you can live with a bit of squinting every now and then it'll be fine. Only other issue I have with mine is that everything slows to a snail's pace once AVG starts a scan and doesn't come back to life until it's finished.
