Forest Allocation

Picked up tickets for London Saints this morning, approx 600 left.

Also although Saints have repeatedly requested the extra allocation Forest will not make a decision on whether we'll get the extra tickets until monday (obviously waiting to see how weekends results effect the situation), sop we may end up with only the inital allocation.

if they don't give us the extras I think there will be a made scramble toget remaining tickets.

Forest have to give us another 900 tickets if we want them.

Do we reckon it will get to membership sales on the 22nd? I've already got 2 tickets myself but a friend has asked if it's likely it will get to membership sales for him, but I don't have a clue tbh. Is it likely?

I'm only a member and have just bought a ticket on-line

Apparently when you get to press buy, after having gone through the whole process it says you're not allowed to buy a ticket yet or something..

Why would Forest want 4,300 Saints fans when they only HAVE to give Saints 3000? Would we be happy if Saints were at home and we gave Forsest 4300 tickets in a game either side might need to win to stay up?

Tickets have been on sale for 3 days now and are still availble, any season ticket holder who fails to get a ticket for this match has only themselves to blame. Personally I would have let members get their tickets today, any member who is willing to buy a ticket before waiting on Saturday's results deserves to get a ticket over a season ticket holder who is waiting to see if Saints win on saturday.

Yes I am a season ticket holder and yes I have my Forest ticket.

A lot of it may be due to policing and ground regs. A lot of the time they can't split a stand in three so they will say here is 2100 tickets (half the stand with barriers in concourse etc.), but then if we want anymore we have to take the full extra 2200 to take all of the rest of the stand as they can't split it with proper segregation.

Christ, there aren't half some miserable people on this thread! I really don't understand this "what a waste of money/waste of a day" attitude.

If you WANT to go, go get yourself a ticket and enjoy your day out. If you're really that narked about paying out money or wasting your day, don't bother buying a ticket, and let someone who does want to go have the opportunity to. Ta.

Forest will say no I bet. IMO that 2,100+ should have gone by now.

I'm only a member, but I expect to get one Wed morning, easy.

If Forest give us the 4,000+ and we are already down, we will never get rid of them.

It would be a great shame if we can't sell out our allocation for what could be the last ever game for Southampton Football Club.

First Forest allocation now sold out. David Luker says that Forest will make a decision on the 2nd allocation on Saturday which is pretty sensible i guess given that we could be down on Saturday & there is no way then we'd sell another 2k.

Quite right. If Forest wanted to be mischevious could they just give us the bare minimum and leave the rest of the seats empty?
