Amesbury Saint Posted 13 April, 2009 Posted 13 April, 2009 I have often been frustrated with the ticket office when it comes to stating accurately the position on ticket sales for key matches. I therefore ask that for our next home match, which I expect will be a near full house that they - state now which corners will be open or what will be the critical factor when to open the corners eg once sales of 23,000 have been acheived corner blocks X-Y will be open. - regular updates on the number of tickets sold and say when the updates will be made eg at 10am and 4pm each day. - which blocks are near sold out (say 90% of tickets sold) and sold out. It will make it easier when trying to buy several tickets together Thank you
Um Bongo Posted 13 April, 2009 Posted 13 April, 2009 Mr Luker, i know you will read this thread so: Any chance you can have a word with whoever plays the music before kick off? It seems they turn it up to drown us up in the build up, i couldn't even hear myself talk today because we were playing music at maximum level. Turn it down, let us sing Thank you.

And immediately after the match. The Saints fans were still singing and we get music.

Um Bongo Posted 13 April, 2009 Posted 13 April, 2009 Sex on fire? Seemed to be all the music they played.
hamster Posted 13 April, 2009 Posted 13 April, 2009 +1 I phoned this morning for an extra one and was told that my section was sold out. Maybe it's my aftershave, but there was a row a 5 empties to my left and 2 in front. I am pretty sure that they aren't just protesting ST holders. We also spent in the store after the game so you lost out on a few quid there too. Please get it sorted as it is costing you/us money.
de-fence Posted 13 April, 2009 Posted 13 April, 2009 And immediately after the match. The Saints fans were still singing and we get music. Tbf it was the Killers. A saints win + the Killers = My perfect moment
Amesbury Saint Posted 14 April, 2009 Author Posted 14 April, 2009 Tbf it was the Killers. A saints win + the Killers = My perfect moment but why not delay it for a couple of minutes - especially when we win in a crutical match?
Bailey Posted 15 April, 2009 Posted 15 April, 2009 To have sold 15,000 already is a good sign. I really really hope that fans realise how big this game is. Could potentially be our last ever home match, so there's no reason not to attend! Would be great to see a packed St Mary's once again too.
samoakley Posted 15 April, 2009 Posted 15 April, 2009 I think 24k would be good i feel if we beat wesnesday or draw and results go are way it will get 30k.
Window Cleaner Posted 15 April, 2009 Posted 15 April, 2009 I it will get 30k. Not unless they reduce ticket prices. In fact Burnley will be a crunch match for crowd figures. Assuming it's still a match with "enjeu" we'll see what the demand is at full price (unless there are reductions that I don't remember)
Saints67 Posted 15 April, 2009 Posted 15 April, 2009 The deal is full paying adult with a junior for £30 (£24 +£6).
SaintDonkey Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 Anyone have an idea of how many are sold now? I'm guessing from the plea on the OS that sales are 'disappointing'
saints_is_the_south Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 Anyone have an idea of how many are sold now? I'm guessing from the plea on the OS that sales are 'disappointing' 15k as of 1pm yesterday, can't imagine thats increased too much since then, alot will depend on results this weekend i think. Win & climb out of the bottom 3 & i think we'll see 30k, draw or lose but still in with a minor chance and it will be about the same as Palace imo.

So lose against Wednesday and Saints go bust before the end of the season because of poor ticket sales for the Burnley match Come on folks pull your fingers out and buy those tickets come what may!
bristolsaint29 Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 Just bought 2, doing my bit!! Trying to convince all my mates even non supporting to come along.
wild-saint Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 Nice to see the fans coming ouit in force in our hour of need.
bigtonesfc Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 Got 2 this morning also, and forest tickets.Getting tickets v wednesday at gate!
chocco boxo Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 If we are still in it after Wednesday Saturday, we will sell out no doubt.

And get rid of that clown with the microphone, who does nothing but scream and shout. A little 'soto voce' would not go amiss
Nick65 Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 Bought tickets for me and the nipper this afternoon; the guy said 'they're selling really well". Whatever that means. Anyway, a full house (and result) like SheffU last season would be more than useful.
obelisk Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 Ticket purchase completed. I suppose a lot will depend on the result against Wednesday. A win and I'd expect a full house with a lot of tension. A defeat and maybe not so many enjoying a bit of gallows humour.

simonsaints1 Posted 16 April, 2009 Posted 16 April, 2009 £30 for an adult and kid is good value. Cost us £40 at watford and boy you should see the differece in facilities. The "concourse" was about 5 feet wide and they did not sell beer.
Mr saint Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 What do people think the chances of being able to buy a ticket on the day are? (I know todays result could affect the attendance a lot), but I'm not going to be able to know whether or not I can actually make it until Friday evening by the looks of things. Also, I never get why you have to be a member to buy tickets online? I'm sure you don't have to be for most other clubs.

NickG Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 imagine sales will be pretty good if we are out of relegation zone today!

Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 They cant be too bad, I had to get tickets in Block 41!!?
Iowsaintsfan Posted 18 April, 2009 Posted 18 April, 2009 They cant be too bad, I had to get tickets in Block 41!!? Yeah me too and the closest to the back was row P
Mr saint Posted 19 April, 2009 Posted 19 April, 2009 Lets be honest if we lose today, I should imagine your get one but if we a result today it will be close to a sell out before the weekend. I still rekon it will be close to a sell out for some reason. Despite yesterdays loss.
Amesbury Saint Posted 19 April, 2009 Author Posted 19 April, 2009 I still rekon it will be close to a sell out for some reason. Despite yesterdays loss. why Friday night I was going to buy tickets. 5pm Saturday I was not sure. I will go but the players and manager do not make it an easy decision. If they had lost yesterday, but fought hard then I would be happier. Why are we paying £5k to £15k? per week for people who cannot be arsed. Just think £10k a week - £520k a year plus bonuses for what How many on here earn £520k per year? Anyway, I will buy the tickets tonight!

People will go whatever, simply because it's the last game of the season (and who knows...maybe ever). There's still a small (very very very very very very small) glimmer of hope for survival too! I know I will do all I can do to make sure I get down there!
samoakley Posted 19 April, 2009 Posted 19 April, 2009 I think everyone should go theres a small chance of survial and it may be the last ever game this club plays at SMS.
Toadhall Saint Posted 19 April, 2009 Posted 19 April, 2009 I'll be there. If the fans give up its all over.

We will pack the stadium against Burnley & pay a lot to see them, not to line the pockets of the waste of space players we have now but to enable future players to play their hearts out for us in the future (probably for not much money)?
