I have thought for a long while now that it will go to the last game against Forest, trouble is that Sky will almost certainly televise it - Eeek!

Anyone know if Forest are pants on telly too?

We are two quite well known teams in the UK but this match is also on at the same time:

Sunday, 3 May 2009

Liverpool v Newcastle, 13:30

Lets hope that theres some really interesting Championship promotion games too for the other Sky Sports Channels!

Reading-Brum is bound to be the televised match.

Having done the predictor, I think its going to be a case of the winner stays up against Forest, a draw being no good for either side.

If it comes down to that game with one of us getting relegated - then I think its odds on for a Sky game along with one or two of the promotion games - Wolves will probably have wrapped up the championship by then. So maybe Reading/Brum or Palace/Sheff Utd.

Probably not Sky, just our age-old Forest bogey. They have always done us like a kipper.

Did someone say Micky Evans? :yawinkle:

I know it's a while ago but we did beat Burnley 3-2 on Sky.

TBH this "we always lose on sky" myth is a cover story for the fact that we actually do lose a lot of games.

If we won most of our games we wouldn't be where we are now ;)

Battle of the two strikers. McGoldrick (Ex-Notts County player could score the goal to send them down and keep us up) or Blackstock (Ex-Saints player could score the goal to keep them up and condemn us to league 1).

And the two goalkeepers as well. Most of the people on this forum believe we are selling quality players cheaply and then replace them with expensive crap. Is it a mistake to let Paul Smith go in the first place? Or Kelvin Davis is a better keeper? We will know after the final game of the season. Must be a cracking game!!!!!

Before this season I would have agreed with you, but from memory the televised games this season have been:

Blackpool (H), QPR (A), Bristol City (H), Coventry (A), Palace (A), Man U (Cup - H), Wolves (A)

A record of played 7, lost 7 - pretty woeful even by the standards of this season.
