docker-p Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 It's a sad state of affairs, when the club is in the turmoil it is, and one of the most read threads is what f@@king fancy dress to wear to Nottingham!

bigtonesfc Posted 17 April, 2009 Posted 17 April, 2009 Lets go as dockers. Whatever happened to donkey jackets?
Griffo Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Now we're down I think we should just enjoy the day, so I'm bumping the thread. We're not organised enough to get a theme so I suggest anyone just shove on any fancy dress so we get a variety and maybe have a look around to see who's is the best.

We're not organised enough to get a theme so I suggest anyone just shove on any fancy dress so we get a variety and maybe have a look around to see who's is the best. Southend fans gave themselves a very high standing in my eyes a few seasons back when they were already down and we were playing for the final play-off spot. They all turned up in great fancy dress and really enjoyed themselves and cheered the Saints on to an extend. I think something along these lines would be great - so I won't feel my ticket has gone to waste!
Charlie2008 Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 (edited) Now we're down I think we should just enjoy the day, so I'm bumping the thread. We're not organised enough to get a theme so I suggest anyone just shove on any fancy dress so we get a variety and maybe have a look around to see who's is the best. Is this the consensus of opinion? I am yet to hear of any theme as in previous years for the last away game and nobody seems to have organised anything, as Griffo predicted. I know we have little to celebrate but no need to be too depressed surely. We'll be back so let's have a great day and go out with a bang... Edited 2 May, 2009 by Charlie2008
rocknrollman no2 Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 I am just as depressed as everyone else, but seeing as i have tickets and i have booked hotel rooms anyway,i am going to go,have lots of beer, sing for the team, shout lots of abuse at lLowe and generally have as best time as i can, given the circumstances. Sometimes i wish i supported another team. There again,if the good times come back, then at least i will enjoy it more.
Block 5 Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Return of Banana Man from West Brom? Simo....... Where are you mate?

I'm not going unfortunately but have been wondering all day what mood I would be in if I was there and from our fans in general. Party or wake? I think your plan sounds like the best idea in the circumstances RRM. I look forward to reports of plenty of noise, gallows humour, disco and maybe even a Saints win. Hope you can enjoy yourselves all those going and NO CRYING to be shown on tv!
eelpie Posted 3 May, 2009 Posted 3 May, 2009 The bloke in the dinner jacket is brave to wear fishnets.
