Huffton Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Seriously, after todays 'performance' none of them deserve it. Surely it would help the club if they all donated a weeks pay to help the club, and their potential employers, survive. Just MHO.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Getting overrated players to give back their ill-gotten gains would set a precedent the football world may live to regret , Louis Boa Morte for instance would owe enough to pay off the national debt .

INFLUENCED.COM Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 If they are unable to find fight in these times then f*ck them all and just confirms they are in it for noone but themselves, would like to see them on performance related pay, doubt they would still be driving 40k cars after a month on that structure
maltasaints Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 I've been in favour of this for years. If i perform badly at work i get a bollocking or pay deducted if it effect our business finacially. So if a player plays **** why doesnt he get any deduction, it would make him come back stronger and fight to get a better salary, No??? Too much player power me thinks
derry Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 You could fine them under contractual rules if you could make it stick, however if you don't pay them they would be entitled to walk away with a free transfer for breaking their contract. In addition you are opening the door for the league to get involved and deduct points.

rooney Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 If they will not voluntary give some of their wages back as is happening out in the real world (wages forgone) why should anyone make donations to ensure they get paid in full. That really seems crazy.
