saint_stevo Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Why did we get him exactly? Played a few times, was bad, got sent off, disappeared. I wonder how much his, Pulis and Gasmi's wages add up to?
saint_ed Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 (edited) To be fair, I don't give a toss where he is....nowhere near good enough to compete at this level. Another waste of money alongside Pulis, Gasmi and I would now also be tempted to add Schneiderlin to that list. Edited 10 April, 2009 by saint_ed

Mark`` Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Some Horrible Decisions from a horrible Board and Management System i guess. He is no where to be seen and Rudi Skacel isnt much better tbh. Just think, if we didn't sign all these bad loan signings and the likes of Molyneaux and Pulis We might have been able to keep hold of John and not send him out on loan. Then perhaps we might have been able to score our way out of this mess.
ottery st mary Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Moly never really watched AND yet they let Fish Mills go who is at least ours and would have given scope there at the left back. Moly a wasted set of wages like too many others.

Smirking_Saint Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Thats a point i didn't even think, what the hell did happen to him ??
ottery st mary Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Mills probably earns more than Molyneux. Apparently our records will show Moly earns £300 pounds a week more than Fish...

CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Strange, as Mills looks far far better than Molyneux, If Mills was here now I'd play him.[/quote] Amen to that .
ottery st mary Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 did we buy him or was he on loan? Free?:smt082 Had become 4th choice at Everton...We just beat Skelmersdale to his signature.
saint_stevo Posted 10 April, 2009 Author Posted 10 April, 2009 how much do we pay Pulis, Gasmi and Moly accumulatively? Anyone know?
Smirking_Saint Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 how much do we pay Pulis, Gasmi and Moly accumulatively? Anyone know? I expect Pulis is only here for the free health insurance as BUPA wouldn't touch him, as for the other two, no more than a tenner i hope
Arizona Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 It seems WTF, Portaloo and Lowe couldn't tell the difference between a sh*t player and a bag of grapefruit. Probably why they unwittingly signed the various duds mentioned in this thread.
Minsk Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 Why did we get him exactly? Played a few times, was bad, got sent off, disappeared. I wonder how much his, Pulis and Gasmi's wages add up to? And not to mention however much Kim Van der whatsit was paid; and all the other loanees who didn't do anything; and Tommy F; and a few others that I can't be bothered to name. But it's still Barclay's fault that we went 100k over the overdraught limit!
samoakley Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 I have heard he earned 8,000 one week at this club my friends knows someone who dated him and saw a wage packet with 8,047 or something like that i assume that is not his basic wage and inculded his basic wage and apperance fee win bonous etc.
oxfordshire_saint Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 Pulis for top scorer in League One next season

I'd be surprised if any of the 'give youth a chance' signings are on anything more than £2K a week. In my opinion Fish is promising but too young / inexperienced. Hopefully will be a good player in time, but not this year.
Andy_Porter Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 To be fair, I don't give a toss where he is....nowhere near good enough to compete at this level. Another waste of money alongside Pulis, Gasmi and I would now also be tempted to add Schneiderlin to that list. Schneiderlin is top of the list, in bold and underlined. ****ing ****e and we overpaid.
Saint_clark Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 Mills probably earns more than Molyneux. I doubt that, considering he came through a Prem academy and Mills through a CCC academy.
Dicko Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 Molyneux was very highly rated at Everton before he got injured Why do we write players off so early? No player comes through an Everton academy without being a talented player, I think we should give him a chance

eelpie Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 (edited) Molly is (was) all part of Rupert's long term grand plan (gamble) of buying in cheap 'bargains' and hopefully selling them off at a profit. It was like planting tree saplings to rebuild a leaking ship. Edited 11 April, 2009 by eelpie

No player comes through an Everton academy without being a talented player, I think we should give him a chance I bet 80% of the players who come through any Premiership teams academy end up plying lower league football.
Amesbury Saint Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 I bet 80% of the players who come through any Premiership teams academy end up plying lower league football. so he will be ok for us then

It was like planting tree saplings to rebuild a leaking ship. Funniest thing you have ever written. I also think that Molyneux was part of a plan, a bit like Hoddle's, to take on lads who almost but not quite made it, presumably quite cheaply & try & let them seize their last chance. Holmes, Smith & Pulis would all fit that category & the first two may yet prove him right, as may Molyneux

exit2 Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 Pretty certain players get paid monthly... Alain you are correct all players at SFC get paid monthly

It is OBVIOUSLY Glenn Hoddle's fault Of course - Glenn told him all about the wunderkind academy he was going to build in Spain and how it would make zillions by bringing back the Lost Boys. So Lowe built his whole cunning plan around doing that at SMS Phew, I can sleep easily at last and sit back and just keep saying it was Dalek 2003's fault Lowe came up with that stupid idea and screwed us.... No wonder he doesn't take the blame :smt119:smt086:confused::cool:

Also didnt our accademy beat them anyway? :-s
LeBenali Posted 11 April, 2009 Posted 11 April, 2009 http://www.glennhoddleacademy.com/academy_news.html Some news on some of the players there...is that Fagan fella who's gone to Hamilton the one we had on trial a few weeks back?
