Barfy Posted 7 April, 2009 Posted 7 April, 2009 Hi, I'm trying to fill in a form in MS Word, but there seems to be a problem with the formatting. I'm not able to contact the person that created the form, but need to fix the problem. Does anyone know how to get round a password protected MS word file? Ta.
saint_stevo Posted 7 April, 2009 Posted 7 April, 2009 Google it mate, there is plenty, most of which are protected by my blazing wall of fire so cannot post a link
Barfy Posted 7 April, 2009 Author Posted 7 April, 2009 I assume all the programs that claim to be able to do it for free take an age to work though? I might have to see if I can get in touch with the author before I resort to one of these (unless someone has a better suggeestion?) Thanks anyway though.
Big John Posted 8 April, 2009 Posted 8 April, 2009 Could you not just copy and paste it into a new document?
Barfy Posted 8 April, 2009 Author Posted 8 April, 2009 Could you not just copy and paste it into a new document? Tried that too. All of the copy & paste options have been disabled. I've got to wait until the person with the password turns up so he can unlock it for the web team to make the amendments. Goverment agencies, you've got to love them...
