.comsaint Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 He's on the Sports Breakfast with Alan Brazil this coming Wednesday morning...for those that give a toss! Wonder what he'll have to say for himself?
Saint_Ash Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 No doubt how great his is and nothing ever is his fault and how he's been unfairly treated, same old drivel he's been spouting over the last week.
John B Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 No doubt how great his is and nothing ever is his fault and how he's been unfairly treated, same old drivel he's been spouting over the last week. I would have thought anybody with some sense would at least listen to what he says before making such a comment. There are valid reasons why we went into administration not all because of Lowe
saint_mears Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Well nothing like someone going into PR overdrive to get 'his story' across ! All sounds a bit desperate these newspaper articles and if his story was bonafide then he wouldnt need to keep repeating.
Toomer Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I wish they would all just shut up and feck off they all played a part in our fall from grace in one way or another.
Charlie2008 Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 He's on the Sports Breakfast with Alan Brazil this coming Wednesday morning...for those that give a toss! Wonder what he'll have to say for himself? Interesting that they've booked him for Weds. morning. Presumably to discuss the 10 pt. deduction/or non-deduction as the case may be tomorrow (if a decision is even reached). I'm sure Alan Brazil will give him a grilling regardless, so I for one will definitely be listening...
St BATman Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 =D>I wish they would all just shut up and feck off they all played a part in our fall from grace in one way or another.
beatlesaint Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 He has to do this to try and erase the stigma he will have in the business world having led a company into administration. I cant see any other reason for him to keep on with his "it wasnt me guv" mantra. Me thinks he doth protest too much personally !! : - )
70's Mike Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Go to Talksport.net and then Shows and send e-mail to Alan Brazil with questions to ask Rupert. Have asked a few like responsibilty, why did we not buy quality rather than quantity in 200, and allthe obvious ones
Nineteen Canteen Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I would have thought anybody with some sense would at least listen to what he says before making such a comment. There are valid reasons why we went into administration not all because of Lowe Very true and it will be lot better IMO than the populist rhetoric we shall be subjected to by Crouch on 'local' radio.
Wade Garrett Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I see little point in listening to excruciating self-justification. He is history, and this isn't really Saints related anymore.
SW11_Saint Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Why is he bothering? No one is listening or interested. His chapter if firmly closed, and others are now left picking up the pieces...
SW11_Saint Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Very true and it will be lot better IMO than the populist rhetoric we shall be subjected to by Crouch on 'local' radio. You might deem it "better", but it's still pointless. Horse, barn door and all that...
VectisSaint Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I would have thought anybody with some sense would at least listen to what he says before making such a comment. There are valid reasons why we went into administration not all because of Lowe What authority does Lowe have to speak about anything now. He definitely should shut up and make himself invisible at the moment. Nothing he does now helps SFC, and only makes himself more of a clown than he already is. How come the Administrator did not slap a gagging order on him, like Lowe has done with anyone in the past that disagrees with his POV?
georgeg Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 thanks for the warning! we've had years of drivel from this t*sser - you are history - now p*ss off I think I'll have a dump in his memory when he's on
SaintRichmond Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 He's on the Sports Breakfast with Alan Brazil this coming Wednesday morning...for those that give a toss! Wonder what he'll have to say for himself? He is " doing the rounds " to make out that none of SFC's troubles are of HIS making That simply means that he has EVERY intention of coming back, most likely at the head of a Consortium .......... but, surprise, surprise, NO real Investment for the Club LEOPARDS DO NOT CHANGE THEIR SPOTS
Colinjb Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Should be amusing. Wonder if they will subject him to any direct questions from us lot.
scottzoo Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 will he get paid for this (if he's booked) somebody email AB and ask if he'll donate his fee to keep saints afloat till end of season
70's Mike Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 He is " doing the rounds " to make out that none of SFC's troubles are of HIS making That simply means that he has EVERY intention of coming back, most likely at the head of a Consortium .......... but, surprise, surprise, NO real Investment for the Club LEOPARDS DO NOT CHANGE THEIR SPOTS last sentence sums him up, protecting own reputation before the interests of the club. LC may or not be as clever as RL but at least his current actions are doing something practical to help the club rather than blaming everyone else. No Consortium of sane people would have RL in it, it would be a PR diaster and face another admin in a year as the crowds stay away in even bigger numbers
Ponty Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Sounds more and more like he's going to attempt another Lazarus.
NickG Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 by the way, have neither the time or interest to do the same for this one as I did for LC tonight!
70's Mike Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 by the way, have neither the time or interest to do the same for this one as I did for LC tonight! No need Nick ALL WENT WRONG DURING MY 2 YEARS AWAY not my fault left money in bank build the stadium cup final europe catering radio station insurance company no mention of relegation failure to get promotion whilst we still had money selling radio station and insurance business#
aintforever Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I'm just worried as to why he is doing all these interviews.
um pahars Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Will be interested to use the time to try and drum up interest to get supprot for helping get the Club out of the mire, or whether it will be another attempt at saving face and blaming others. I will not pre judge him and await his interview with interest.
ottery st mary Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Rupert is a lame duck who is flapping about for dear life but going around in circles. Everyone bar a few of his Pans People are starting to feel he should stop the flap and waddle away. Time to go away Rupert and leave the club for good..hopefully.
hypochondriac Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 If he calls for a buyer for the club and says there is no use looking in the past as Crouch has done this evening then fair play to the bloke. If he just denies any wrongdoing and harps on about the previous regime and Barclays again then he can take a running jump. We shall see.
Right sider Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 No one has mentioned the managerial revolving door yet either.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I expect he'll try and evade all responsibility for the disaster this season has become under his stewardship . I also expect that Alan Brazil (not being fully conversant with all the facts) will let him get away with it . Fortunately we're rid of him now and none of it will really matter .
IN MY DAY Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 It should be an interesting chat, Alan Brazil has always made mileage out of his Burley contact and the inside track on the boardroom upheavals at St Marys, it will be interesting to see if Mr Brazil gives him a cousy ride or really gets stuck into him.
supaimpy_returns Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 well we should all send emails to the show, prime AB with queestions that Saints Fans want answered.
Pav Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I will not pre judge him and await his interview with interest. you're not going to pre-judge him, so basically you're going to ignore the fact he's virtually managed to ruin the club over last couple of years
Fan The Flames Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 What the **** is he still doing sniffing around, I was certain he would be back last time and I'm still not convinced he's finished with us yet. He's the Loweminator.
hypochondriac Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 you're not going to pre-judge him, so basically you're going to ignore the fact he's virtually managed to ruin the club over last couple of years No I think he is going to listen to what he has to say without slagging him off or calling him scum before he has said it. If he comes across like Leon did today then I will say fair play to him. I have my doubts though.
.comsaint Posted 7 April, 2009 Author Posted 7 April, 2009 Bumped - to remind you all that Lowe is on TalkSport Wednesday morning - Alan Brazil's breakfast show.
trousers Posted 7 April, 2009 Posted 7 April, 2009 Bumped - to remind you all that Lowe is on TalkSport Wednesday morning - Alan Brazil's breakfast show. Cheers. Any idea what time he's due on? Show kicks off at 6am
.comsaint Posted 7 April, 2009 Author Posted 7 April, 2009 Cheers. Any idea what time he's due on? Show kicks off at 6am Not sure trousers. I only know that he's on the Sport's Breakfast sometime in the morning. I guess Alan Brazil will give the approximate time shortly after the show starts?
trousers Posted 7 April, 2009 Posted 7 April, 2009 Not sure trousers. I only know that he's on the Sport's Breakfast sometime in the morning. I guess Alan Brazil will give the approximate time shortly after the show starts? I'd better hit the sack then.....said the bishop to the actress... cheers
sadoldgit Posted 8 April, 2009 Posted 8 April, 2009 Well nothing like someone going into PR overdrive to get 'his story' across ! All sounds a bit desperate these newspaper articles and if his story was bonafide then he wouldnt need to keep repeating. Considering that most people have decided that it is his fault already, I can't blame him for wanting to put his case. Would you let something go if you thought you were wrongly accused? Personally I love to hear the real story told by someone without an agenda.
The Majestic Channon Posted 8 April, 2009 Posted 8 April, 2009 It's a carbon copy of his sky news interview, everbody's fault but his own, no mention of all the instabilty he bought to the club, countless managers, relagatation under him ,etc etc etc , nothing's his fault , c unt
bristolsaint29 Posted 8 April, 2009 Posted 8 April, 2009 Have just emailed talksport and asked them exactly that, bet they don't ask him. He's an absolute fukc wit
N/West Saint Posted 8 April, 2009 Posted 8 April, 2009 oh he is a tit. Nothing is my fault, WGS a great mate of mine lol
NickG Posted 8 April, 2009 Posted 8 April, 2009 turned it on after started as didn't want to hear him -but curiosity got the better of me! expected deflecting of blame - read acounts, bank etc came across bit better than I expected tho
solentstars Posted 8 April, 2009 Posted 8 April, 2009 I would have thought anybody with some sense would at least listen to what he says before making such a comment. There are valid reasons why we went into administration not all because of Lowe i agree he just said read the accounts for the last 2 seasons the truth is there, the man may be hated but the real villians involved who mismanged the clubs finances big time for that period have got away with their share of the blame.
