derry Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I have had a meeting with the save our saints group who have satisfied me that we can combine and go ahead and launch an appeal on a trust or similar basis. So that there would be proper protection in the event of the necessity to turn the pledges into funds. They have a website www.saveoursaints.info which is in a basic state. What is needed is a computer expert who could alter the website to allow the same format as our collection thread to allow in the first instance fans to pledge in the same way. In addition pledges can continue to be taken on the original thread. Can anybody who can help please pm me and whether you are confident you can do it quickly.
derry Posted 7 April, 2009 Author Posted 7 April, 2009 Even if you can't do you know somebody who might? It's bloody difficult setting this up because whilst I hope it doesn't come to it it may be all we've got. The administrator is saying the bad results and the doubt over the immediate future is making it difficult to find a buyer. We can't launch the main media appeal until we have the website in place. Mods can you make this a sticky it's vital for the appeal.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 7 April, 2009 Posted 7 April, 2009 Thought SF @ Solar Flair would be the guy to do that ?
jim_bergerac Posted 7 April, 2009 Posted 7 April, 2009 Come on Moderators, give this guy a sticky. I can offer no techy assistance Derry. Have you been on the Facebook 'Save our Saints' ? Can any more support/coming together be offered down that route.

Saint in Paradise Posted 7 April, 2009 Posted 7 April, 2009 Send a pleading PM to Mr Baj, before he gets locked up for being reckless with a football.
derry Posted 8 April, 2009 Author Posted 8 April, 2009 Problem solved thanks to Steve Grant. As for the administrators statements, I think they are hoping there are a couple of worthwhile bids and not too many tyrekickers. What was said to me was keep it going in case we don't manage to sell the company, in the end it may be all we've got.
