You are a complete tool, who seems to thrive on knocking Saints fans in any way you can.If the story is true then they will get their just desserts,if not you just look the stupid tw*t!

TurgidToneSFC, I would suggest the only big thing about you is the vacuous space between your ears.

It kicked off in town after down near above bar. Not sure what happened as wasn't there but was listening to CCTV following them through town.

I think this is what I saw. I was in Que Pasa and saw a lot of people running past towards the Marlands.

I really dont think the young female CHILD!! who got hit with a bottle found it funny she was knocked out cold and taken to hospital, People want fans back at the ground but what sort of message does this put out about the way our fans behave! As for the "FIGHT" in the itchen toilets mentioned earlier It wasnt a fight it was some cowardly chav teenagers who beat the crap out of a guy on his own just before half time in the loo just because he had asked them to calm down a bit earlier in match cos they were swearing and acting like ****s!

So much for a great family day out!!!

The shame is that some on here will think it great that some bloke got the **** kicked out of him for daring to speak out. Most of these turds are very brave in a gang but scared ****less on their own.

Anyone guilty of violence at a game should be banned for life and made to attend a Police station during a home and away game.

That is embarrassing. What is even worse is the fact i'm not surprised in the slightest that something like this has happened. I don't know why but since we've been out of the premiership more and more jumped up little ****s have started coming and i for one am completely sick of it. The northam is cringeworthy. I would genuinely consider making certain areas of the ground age restricted. It appears to be the 15-19 year old burberry wearing brigade can't be trusted to be within spitting distance of the away end. So i propose 21s and over in the northam and get the kids to **** off down to the family enclosure.

Lots of gobby teens up the back of block three as well. All more concerned with throwing offensive gestures at the away fans than what was going on on the pitch. All very disappointing tbh.

Please don't think we're all cut from the same cloth in the Northam. I am 18 and i feel that yes i give the away fans a fair bit of stick, but almost all of the time i am more interested in football. Don't think that every Teenager in the Northam that isn't plastered in a red and white shirt is a `jumped up little ****`.

I refer you to my earlier post on this thread. I saw no Saints fans laughing from where I happened to find myself. I don't think the old bill saw that either - it was ugly - especially as the Saints fans were taunting from safety behind the railings. The Charlton fans were up for it I agree but to pass off the behaviour of our fans as having a laugh shows a degree of misunderstanding of what happened.

I remember the bad old days of the 70's when I used to be a regular at Gillingham before moving south. So I know what I am on about.

Upbury Manor - 1980

Rainham End - to present

Was in the rainham End satutday. Still brilliant and I nearly wept when they sang Molly Mallone.

I'm not that bothered whether there was or was not any trouble I'll leave that for others to get hyped up on.

The fact of the matter is we are experiencing the classic symptoms of what criminologists refer to as ' broken windows' theory.

The club is in turmoil, the board is in disrepute, this is reflected on the field and not unnaturally off the pitch.

Thus we have certain 'elements' feeling able to reflect the situation of the club and some could argue take advantage of it's demise.

Whilst football violence is never far from the surface, and lets face it with so much passion and testosterone present that's not surprising, it is at points in a clubs history when it is on it's uppers that violence tends to make a sustained appearance.

Personally I don't think it's a major problem at Saints, but slip down another division coupled with a loss of hope then it will increase exponentially.

I wish the Charlton fan well and that she suffers no serious side effects from a serious assault that could have very grave consequences. It would be nice to know how she is doing tonight and if things are ok or not. I think all decent Saints fans will be appalled at this news and I'm sure like myself offer our sincere apologies and hope she is making a good recovery and feels she can return next year in safety when no doubt we will be meeting in the league.

Anyone read about Natasha Richardson's recent bump on the head? Can I recommend for the good of us all, anyone who has any information about this assault passes it on to the police if they haven't already arrested the scumbag.

Well I can quote the husband of the said woman who went to hospital.... when asked how she was he said....

"shes ok thanxs if any luck it might of knocked some sense in her!!!!!!!!! "

So you need not worry.

We are only just home from the game!!

Ended up in Southampton Hospital with my MRS, She got a bottle in the back of her head and got knocked out!!

Police seemed to cause most of the trouble from where I was standing.

So people can stop whining and overreacting on here

I don't think one person being ok dismisses a strong feeling amongst many people that football violence off any kind should not be tolerated.

Good post. It is something that happens more and more the lower down the league ladder you go. You will see more of it when we are in Division 3 next season (or Division 4 or the Wessex League wherever we end up). Prem teams get very little of this, and it is something we have got used to not having thankfully with all our years in the top flight.

But don't get conned into thinking this was all Charlton's fault. I was in the Itchen/Northam corner, and there were a few so-called Saints fans who were busting for a chance to get at them. But in general it was all good natured.

I think half the people on here are so clueless its unreal our club is ****e FACT

We need to ensure that no one comes to our city and takes the ****, if we allow them to then thats disgusting

Our club is so embaressing, shirters and gays galore remember Doncaster at home gays took a hiding the longer they go on saying "yoof" the more they will hate you lads, your all idiots on this forum and so clueless into the real world.

Personally believe that people that fight for there city you should be proud of not slating them, Im neither just a normal person wearing normal clothes to a game of 22 men chasing around a bag of air.

50 year old men wearing football shirts is simply gay and immature and need to grow up football shirts are for children.
