I am confused

who is the goal being awarded to Lallana or McGoldrick, the OS says Lallana but other reports say McGoldrick.

It went over the line from lallana's header so he is the goal scorer technically

One of our lot had a bet on Lallana scoring first hope it didnt tear it up as we all thought it was given to McG.

while listening to the Solent commentary they said that the bloke who put it over the newswires gave it to McGoldrick, but the linesman had definitely flagged for a goal after Lallana's shot....

Lallana scored, McG agreed, it was already over the line, McG just followed up to make sure as all good strikers should do. It will be credited to Lallana whatever Sky or the BBC say.

And the great thing about this side is that they're not precious about it! Lallana said it really didn't matter who scored the result for the TEAm was the most important thing.

AL scored DMG s a clever lad & knows that blasting the ball into the net removes controversy of was it over the line or not then said not mine AL scored AL then said its a team goal

I checked the results at Ladbrokes.com and they have paid on McGoldrick

at 8s.

 

From 'Terms and Conditions' Ladbrokes.com:

 

"Where there is a dispute concerning who scored the goals in a match, bets will be settled based on the decision of the Press Association (PA) immediately the match is finished. If the PA amends their decision after this period, all bets will stand on their original result. If the result is not immediately available from the PA, the result published by the official governing body immediately the match/event is finished will be used for settling purposes. Any subsequent corrections or amendments to this result will not apply for settlement purposes."

This evening on Skateidian news (24 hours after the event) they showed the goal, which clearly was over 2 feet over the line from Lallana's shot, yet they credited it to McG !

You would think that somebody would at least think about it especially as they make out to be a local TV station !!!
