Weston Super Saint Posted 4 April, 2009 Share Posted 4 April, 2009 And this just shows the problem for SFC. Lowe-hating became a disease that is still consuming people, to the extent that they cannot work out what is true and what is not. It has resulted in genuine fans not attending games, poor atmosphere at times in parts of the SMS and loss of income. The fact is, Lowe took on the running of the club last year when no one else would. Without the cost cutting by he and Wilde, the demise would obviously have been even sooner - September according the the Barclay's statement. Now that ther Lowe haters haver what they wanted, which was Lowe Out any any price, we are faced with the possibility that there is no one, literally no one at all, who may want to run this club. The liquidator is saying that the end of the club is a real possibility. Its past history now, but Lowe Haters should not be congratulating themselves, instead they should be wondering if they really understood what the outcome of their attitudes could lead to. What a complete load of b0ll0cks! Crouch was already running the club and had no intention of stepping down until Weasel Wilde changed allegiances. Talk about re-writing history to suit an agenda! Understand it perfectly mate - the bank would have called in that overdraft at some point in the next few months without a shadow of a doubt. Even if they hadnt then attendances would have continued to go down and mostly for one simple fact which you fail to understand - THE MAJORITY OF SAINTS FANS DID NOT AND DO NOT LIKE RUPERT LOWE OR HOW HE WAS RUNNING (INTO THE GROUND) THIS FOOTBALL CLUB !! You can harp on all you like but that is the simple facts.....and if a customer does not like an owner or a business they will withdraw their custom ! Lowe took on the club when no one else would? Sorry, did he not force Crouch out??? Talk about re-writing history!! You're making it sound like Lowe was some sort of white knight who reluctantly came back to save the day. The reality was it was an act of ego and an act purely and simply to protect his assets... nothing more. You know, rather than post absolute rubbish about fans "rubbing their hands with glee at being proved right" you'd look at the waive of optimism on here and the out and out detemination to save this club and push towards safety. Instead of pitifully trying to blame our attitude perhaps you might just look at this whole sorry mess and conclude that the blame lies pretty much solely with Lowe and Wilde and put your pathetic, blinkered, defence of him aside and and realise that he and his new bestest buddy have killed this club... not the fans. Falling attendances are down to one man... I'll give you a clue to who he is, he's the man who has alienated the majority of fans with his arrogant attitude and his meddling. The man who took a competent, well liked manager and replaced him with a complete and utter disasterous mess. That and only that is responsible for dropping attendance figures, not some ridiculous notion you have of anti lowe fans, being these brain dead knuckle draggers you seem to think they are, who have ruined this club by staying away and/or wanting Lowe out... Lowe and Wilde killed this club, not the fans. ****ing get over it...

You really couldn't script this better if you tried. On the one hand you say that because of our hatred we can't work out what is true and what is not. Then one sentence later, presume to tell us that what you say (a Lowe Luvie), is an absolute fact.......
SaintRobbie Posted 4 April, 2009 Share Posted 4 April, 2009 Professor... He's gone. He's gone because even Barclays took the first opportunity to get rid of him (x3 bounced cheques and a meagre £60K over the permitted overdraft limit). They removed him due to his incompetence, divisive nature, lack of financial skill, lack of ability, integrity... need I go on? We just removed the tumour. We have 15 potential buyers and counting and a full stadium today. Optimism has returned. Now, stop this rubbish, admit Lowe was an arse and come and join us in rebuilding the damage he's done.
