paulwantsapint Posted 4 April, 2009 Posted 4 April, 2009 Christian O Connell from Absolute (formally Virgin) Radio is a fan who could advertise Saints worldwide or if he could invest Saints could save on match day DJ as COC could do it playing proper music to get the team going Drew Surman would approve of the music

SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 4 April, 2009 Posted 4 April, 2009 I'm not good at knowing celebrities, but maybe it is worth keeping an eye out for the names of any celebrities joining the 'Save Our Saints' Facebook group (http://www.facebook.com/inbox/?ref=mb#/group.php?gid=67729837464). It may be that a celebrity or two will be lurking among the (over 7000) fans who have signed up to declare their support on there!
Rattlehead Posted 4 April, 2009 Posted 4 April, 2009 If he really wants to help I suggest he gets his 'bad *ss' on the pitch. He couldn't be any worse than the sh*te we've currently got.
Singapore Saint Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 http://www.singasaints.com/craig_david.html
Mick8 Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 I would approach Lucy Pinder myself, but I'm not allowed within 200 yards of her for a further 14 months. It's an outrage - The legal system just won't accept the gravity of Saints' plight.
NickG Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Dont't forget Jeff Stewart who played PC hollis in Th Bill born and bread in Millbrook... Don't forget Jeff Stewart who played PC hollis in The Bill born and bread in Millbrook... my memory is bad but when I read your second post I could still remember the first one!

Jonnyboy Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Does DJ Format follow the club at all? I dont think he'd have much cash tbh
Jonnyboy Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 How about Fred Dineage or Andy Steggall or Will Cope?
Red and White Russ Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Pinder is asleep next to me. What did you want to ask her? The two timing hussy:(
Noodles34 Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 I think the great JC had a soft spot for Saints, he's dead know but (apparently) moves in mysterious ways and his Dad has a few connections too...
ottery st mary Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 I think the great JC had a soft spot for Saints, he's dead know but (apparently) moves in mysterious ways and his Dad has a few connections too... I thought JC had gone back to play in Sweden:D
hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Will Champion, hopefully he would yes. But who could also forget Lucy Pinder? I actually do personally know her cousin. Not sure how close the family are though, they are only cousins and we have never discussed Lucy. They have been brought up at different ends of the country and I am not sure that they have ever met even. I could send her a 'facebook message' (i know, sad isn't it?) tonight but really would not know what to say. Thoughts?
hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Wait a minute, Rewind for a second. Is Craig David serious about this? Personally, I reckon he was Born To Do It, but is he going to see it through and take it All The Way? I'm not so sure, it's 6 Of 1 Thing and half a dozen of another with him. Surely he's got some sort of Hidden Agenda? I hope someone has told him it will take longer than 7 Days to get the deal done? Would be quite good if he bought us out though, because then we could say, "Craig, SFC is Officially Yours!" Sorry, couldn't resist. I really need to ask Bailey, but are you familiar with his work? Could you give us a few examples of his tunes so that us older members might listen out for him next time he is on our wirelesses.
hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Lowe[/b]stoft-Saint;249245]As much as Id like anyone to help save this club, I cant help feeling a bit p*ssed off that it is only now that these rich supporters of ours are saying they may help... If they are supporters where the hell have they been over the last couple of years whilst all this mess with the club has been going on... Believe me Im not having a dig at anyone personally, Im just hoping that these guys have not left it to late to make a difference.... The irony, sorry friend but their is but one answer to your question and it is encoded into your username.
hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 He just rips off a load of Rupert Lowe songs. "I took over on Monday Sold all the players on Tuesday Bottom of the league by Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday and Saturday Went broke on Sunday" Or... Took it in a Monday Raped in on the Tuesday Repeatedly raped it over the next ten years or so.... ...returned it to it's original owners, a little worse for wear but still breathing (just) for an April Fools joke. Erm Friday again! And I'm bored now that I've lost my favourite toy. Still, you have THAT coin collection to count when you are counting all your money in that cosy country counting house. I am surprised that you can sleep at night, oh well, night night Rupert don't forget to set the alarm. Have the dogs been fed.
hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Pinder is asleep next to me. What did you want to ask her? Ask her if she is really asleep or is she fed up with you laying in bed all day on that ****ing laptop.
hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 you sir are a lyrical genius, that was fookin hilarious!!!!!!!!!! :d What did he say?

hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 if Craig David is a Saints fan, abroad with internet access at the moment I am sure he will be having a look here.... If you are I think the benefit gig is the way to go. BO! P.S. Lucy if you are reading, you can do a photo shoot in a new, skimpier (much skimpier) shirt, or maybe a flag. Genius! Modelling our new sponsors new shirt that we will all be wearing next season on our march back from the doldrums. Lucy, please please offer to do the promo shots and donate a portion of your fee to the cause? I will be your friend.
hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 Lucy offers her support. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4265430.Top_model_gives_Saints_her_support/ Let's be honnest, she is an expert when it comes to 'support'. I now have 3 reasons to like her Nice to see she has kept abreast of the situation It's a breast of fresh air Saints have had their knockers this season Not the first tits to be seen at SMS this season how many more boob jokes are there... You Sir, are a tit.

hamster Posted 5 April, 2009 Posted 5 April, 2009 I think the great JC had a soft spot for Saints, he's dead know but (apparently) moves in mysterious ways and his Dad has a few connections too... Cruyff is a asaints fan! That doesn't surprise me to be honest, didn't he once have a kickabout with one of our former coaches.
SFKA South Woodford Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 I was sat a few seats in front of Martin Chivers on the 19.00 train service from Central to London on Saturday evening. I'm not sure whether he was already on the train when it pulled in though. He was suited and booted, and talking to another guy. He only mentioned Saints a few times, and was talking to the other guy in the terms of 'You lot are in real danger' and several other things he said led me to believe the other guy was a Saints fan. It's sad that he see's spurs as his team rather than Saints, and seems not to have any feelings for his home town club and it's predicament. Did he always get a rough reception from Saints fans after his move or did something else happen to sour his opinion of Saints?
Crab Lungs Posted 6 April, 2009 Posted 6 April, 2009 Thank god we've got a washed up pop star, a pair of oversized tits and a drummer no-one recognises backing our SoS campaign. For a moment there, I thought we were ****ed.
