Griffo Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 A thread about the atmosphere tomorrow. Songs to be sung, flags, banners, the holding up paper mosaic thing in the Kingsland. Anything..
Weston Super Saint Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Could we have a thread about the atmosphere tomorrow. Songs to be sung, flags, banners, the holding up paper mosaic thing in the Kingsland. Anything.. Sure, why not? Can you get one started?
Griffo Posted 3 April, 2009 Author Posted 3 April, 2009 Sure, why not? Can you get one started? I thought when I was typing that would sound a bit stupid, couldn't be arsed to change it really. Changed now though.
Wilko Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 A thread about the atmosphere tomorrow. Songs to be sung, flags, banners, the holding up paper mosaic thing in the Kingsland. Anything.. I'm planning to sing at least two songs, wave a flag (without a pole, of course), display a banner and hold up a paper mosaic in the Kingsland. Who is with me?
bungle Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I am going to shout abuse at fans who have only just turned up and wave my season ticket around.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I am going to shout abuse at fans who have only just turned up and wave my season ticket around. Lol, please don't...
Weston Super Saint Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I am going to shout abuse at fans who have only just turned up and wave my season ticket around. Do you think they'll be wearing badges so you'll know who they are, or can you remember the 12,000 odd from before?
Griffo Posted 3 April, 2009 Author Posted 3 April, 2009 Also, having a season ticket in block 4 with now 1, 2 and 3 being opened, are those 3 blocks likely to sell out? Otherwise I'm moving across for standing/singing.
percy windham Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I dont know what my grandad will be more ****ed off about tomorrow: the fact we may cease to be as a club, or all the extra people being noisy and obstructing his view
Winchester Exile Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Actually think it will quite a special day tomorrow. At times I reckon it will be spine tinglingly, hair on the back of the neck fantastic with the whole ground up for it. Am getting emotional. See you tomorrow.
fanimal Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Can you imagine the Burnley game if B&T have not cut a deal, and its the Clubs last ever home game?????????? Does not bear thinking about!!
Harry Faz Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Should be a very emotional atmosphere - Lowe is gone, we need to win, and it is a possibility that there could be only 2 more saints home games ever .....
Gemmel Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I am going to shout abuse at fans who have only just turned up and wave my season ticket around. I hope you get what you deserve then
eurosaint Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I hope that people are working on banners. I suggest : 'HATE RUPERT LOVE DUCKS'
alpine_saint Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I am going to shout abuse at fans who have only just turned up and wave my season ticket around. Doesnt surpise me in the slightest. And people accuse me and Stanley of wallowing in the clubs poor fortunes... You liked going to a half-empty SMS better because it made you feel "special", didnt it ??? Mummy not give you enough attention ?
Ewell Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I'm planning to sing at least two songs, wave a flag (without a pole, of course), display a banner and hold up a paper mosaic in the Kingsland. Who is with me? Me then!
Ponty Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Doesnt surpise me in the slightest. And people accuse me and Stanley of wallowing in the clubs poor fortunes... You liked going to a half-empty SMS better because it made you feel "special", didnt it ??? Mummy not give you enough attention ? I think he was being ironic.
Ken Tone Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I intend to clap politely, but will have to remember to put down my thermos flask so I can stand up when we score. Should be too warm for the blanket. ( I sit in the kingsland, and didn't want to disappoint all you others by not fitting the stereotype. ;-) ) As for stay-away fans, welcome back from me .... as long as you'll be with us next season too, in L1 if that's where we end up. Btw is it just that the stand you're in always feels more crowded than the one opposite or has the kingsland crowd size really held up better than the numbers in the other stands this season? K.
eurosaint Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Can you imagine the Burnley game if B&T have not cut a deal, and its the Clubs last ever home game?????????? Does not bear thinking about!! It won't happen, mark my words !
alpine_saint Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I think he was being ironic. Dont you mean moronic ?
Wilko Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I am going to shout abuse at fans who have only just turned up and wave my season ticket around. That's exactly what I would expect from a bitter and twisted man like you. Me then! Excellent. I'll bring a red sheet of paper, you bring a white one. To put you in the picture with regard to songs, I'm going to start with "Come on Saints, you can beat this ****," then move on to "Pompey fan on a string." Best, Wilko COYSRAWAOWTSGMI
Master Bates Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I might get a haircut, just for the person who sits by nickh. Should be a cracking atmosphere.
eelpie Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Can't wait for a full house and great atmosphere. The only small downside is that most our players will **** themselves and subsequently lose to Charlton. I just hope they don't go out clubbing tonight. Not that they would of course. oh..
NickG Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 A thread about the atmosphere tomorrow. Songs to be sung, flags, banners, the holding up paper mosaic thing in the Kingsland. Anything.. think you are a bit presumptuous starting this thread. You should have asked first.
the saint in winchester Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Theme Song has to be STAYIN' ALIVE !!!!!!!!! Ah ah ah ah .. we're stayin' aliiiive ...
Andyb1 Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I am going to shout abuse at fans who have only just turned up and wave my season ticket around. lol, ill be looking for you...
Griffo Posted 3 April, 2009 Author Posted 3 April, 2009 There is going to be a great deal of media personnel at SMS tomorrow. Can we do EVERYTHING in our power to make St Mary's a cauldron of noise, colour, and passion. I ****ing love this club. I will stand and sing for 90 minutes in the Itchen and I hope many, many others show their support in anyway possible tomorrow.
RedFear Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 to be honest, (as with most games this season) i was dreading the game tomorrow now i cant wait!! its going to be a special special atmosphere i reckon i dont usually stand up "if you love the saints" mainly through sheer laziness to be honest, but tomorrow i will and it would be great for the whole ground to do the same our chance to show the world what this club means to us
saintwarwick Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 I'm planning to sing at least two songs, wave a flag (without a pole, of course), display a banner and hold up a paper mosaic in the Kingsland. Who is with me? Count me out, my arms won't stretch from the Itchen.
Wilko Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Count me out, my arms won't stretch from the Itchen. If we lose, I'm blaming you.
