Aye, no strings. But don't you live in the States?

Well, yes, but I have a UK address and Natwest switch card.

Would the refund be available to cash back out or would it remain a Betfair credit though?

You won't be able to log on in the states. They will not accept any bets from the US.

When the hell are they gonna open the USA betting laws? The one thing I really miss over here is not being able to use Betfair.

It's not as if you can't bet online - you can bet on quite a few sites (ie www.sportsbook.com ) but they ain't a patch on Betfair.

Guess it'll happen one day - will just have wait...

I thought the Government tried to quell internet gambling a couple of years back by making it illegal?

I can't imagine in a terrible recession like this, Obama re-opening people's opportunity to bet

The US gambling laws are just f***ed up.

If you go to the centre of Indianapolis, right in the heart of downtown there is a 3 level off-track betting place (basically a bookies). It has bars.

So here you can drink (& smoke) and gamble on just about anything. There's tons of TV screens showing sh*** loads of different sports.

It's not exactly hidden away down a back street. How come this can be here but not elsewhere?

If you are ever in Indy it is well worth popping into it just for the novelty value.
