1976_Child Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 The fact that the club has jsut launched the Fans' Parliament is a tad weird methinks. Anyone know what will become of this idea now?
um pahars Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 One of these reasons why I thought it was so wrong has been highlighted by today's events, in that as long as it is a Club run initiative it will only happen when those at the Club believe in it and any change could well put it in jeopardy. It has to be an independent initiative led and driven by supporter's and not at the behest of those temporarily in charge at any given point.

It also shows that Wilde didn't know what was around the corner.

I completely agree. What strikes me though is for a club of our size, we have no real independant supporters association. Whatever the opinion on the "The Saints Trust", i'm assuming that with the shares or proxied shares now worthless, the original idea behind the trust, is dead and buried? (Unless the new owners donate a %)
Channon's Sideburns Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 It also shows that Wilde didn't know what was around the corner. Rupey didn't tell him foook all did he?? Hahaha...let's 'Go Wilde' eh?? Thanks for nothing.
