Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 If SSN are there, and someone is watching it, could they keep those of us at work updated on this thread? Much Obliged.
LGTL Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 They are following Shearerrrrrrrr's press conference instead I think, probably best to bheck the OS later today.
Spades Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 If SSN are there, and someone is watching it, could they keep those of us at work updated on this thread? Much Obliged. Iv got SSN on... all they seem to care about right now though is shearer.
batterseasaint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Nothing on SSN. Anyone know how to get Radio Solent on Sky Digital?
Spades Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Fill the stadium to give us more chance of seeing out the season
Saint Charlie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 want to sell before end of season. very important fans go to matches to ensure FC lasts until end of season and makes club attractive to buyer. clear doubt that FC will contiunue to exist.. needs a buyer as quickly as possible cash available to get to end of season
LGTL Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 There is doubt we will be able to survive without investment up to the end of the season
LGTL Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 ****ing hell, the club is in danger within weeks if investment isn't found...
Smirking_Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 They say that in law there is a distinct difference between SLH and SFC
LGTL Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 SSN reported ripping into the administrator saying SLH is really just the club!
Saint Charlie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Distinct difference in law between holding co and football club. Confident they can persuade football league that holding co is separate from football club.
Saint Charlie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Lowe could buy club but hasnt said he wants to.
LGTL Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Lowe could re-buy the club again if he wanted to, although hasn't expressed an interest.
Smirking_Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 They say they have serious doubts about selling due to financial climate, say RL could buy the club but has said he has not expressed interest. Not said about concluding deal, keep playing down whether they can sell the club. Keep saying that they can't be confident.
slickmick Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 This sounds desperate, sounds like they are woried that we wont be able to see out the season.
Smirking_Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 PLC probably won't be liquidated until club sold, SLH and SFC are interlinked (debts) but they feel that they can get away with penalty
Window Cleaner Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Debt more than 30m Meaning we borrowed money from somewhere other than Barclay's to partially pay back Barclay's to carry on trading ??? Or we owe money to other clubs that we didn't at the end of last season,or we haven't been paying our VAT..
Saint Charlie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Interest expressed yesterday, deadline of 7.30pm yest to prove could put money in, that was extended and no proof of funding, hence delay this morning.
Smirking_Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 The delay this morning was due to interests expressed yesterday. They were given a deadline but did not meet this. Even after extension. No proof of funding.
Saint Charlie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Solent have cut off the conference to talk about it. We want to hear whats going on FFS!!!
Window Cleaner Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 PLC probably won't be liquidated until club sold, SLH and SFC are interlinked (debts) but they feel that they can get away with penalty Well string the punter along as long as you can to make sure they turn up for the last 3 games to get money for the creditors. When all's said and done we'll end up with a points deduction.
John B Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Interest expressed yesterday, deadline of 7.30pm yest to prove could put money in, that was extended and no proof of funding, hence delay this morning. Fulthorpe again?
Saint Charlie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Solent (sport aside) is bloody crap, a load of loonys talking about gardening and other rubbish!
Window Cleaner Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Now we have some tart talking ****! Has she got big tits?
Saint Charlie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Fulthorpe again? Not sure. Fry said of course if they are really interested they will still be now....
Smirking_Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 The bloke did not sound perticularly confident
yorkie Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Fellow fans - I can't get Solent either, but rest assured I'll be there on Saturday now for sure (Michelle - get us a ticket in Block 1). The fact must be with Mr.Lowe out of the way - all the assets of SFC must be sold. The football club is just one of those items. The administrators will have to do their best for the creditors. This may mean selling the club for £1 - if the right package is on offer. I think Rupert has got the message - football is a working class game, funded by working class people. I don't think he will be back. The shares they own are worthless as they belong to SLH and not SFC. I think there will be many interested parties to see us through until the end of the season, and if we stay up - we will get the investment wanted for the last 4/5-years which Rupert et al never provided. Not longer your club Mr Lowe - and you have very little say in the future (hopefully). Your legacy is St.Marys - like many I thought an exciting development. Looking back now - would these problems been avoided if still at The Dell?
John B Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 My Euphoria of yesterday has been replaced with complete gloom
Weston Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Fulthorpe again? No. Don't ask the follow up question
70's Mike Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Meaning we borrowed money from somewhere other than Barclay's to partially pay back Barclay's to carry on trading ??? Or we owe money to other clubs that we didn't at the end of last season,or we haven't been paying our VAT.. OR petrol bills, or gas , or electric or phones, or suppliers
Smirking_Saint Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Oh great, moving on up by M people. Cheers love. And next sylvia sims
