fareham saint phil Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Roll on 10am so we are rid of those those clowns and may they never set foot near our football club again
saints_is_the_south Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Quite a shocking & depressing thought. 24 days starting from tomorrow & including weekends & bank holidays means the deadline is Sunday 26th April. Not including weekends & bank holidays it would be Monday 11th May. Either way it's not a lot of time, especially given the current economic climate. Bucket collections on Saturday anybody?
JustMike Posted 2 April, 2009 Author Posted 2 April, 2009 maybe we can get Jack Bauer in to save us (sorry, lame pun on the 24 thing)

Saint_clark Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 I'll be buying sh*t loads in the megastore this weekend.
trousers Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Somewhat ironic that the financial director is the one that sticks around? Still, I guess Gordon Brown has set a precedence in that department
Pancake Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Time for the players to stand up and refuse to be paid for the next 24 days IMHO.

Pancake Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 Yes, indeed, I wasnt expecting some of our young kids to lose out.

Toomer Posted 2 April, 2009 Posted 2 April, 2009 I like the part where it says they have invested millions, only in shares in the hope to make a good return, not in the club.

Lowe would never voluntarily Resign from SFC, to him, it is HIS Club Does anyone else hold the view that he does have something up his sleeve ? Most people thought that if Administration was coming, it would have been announced prior to last weeks deadline. To me, it just doesn't make sense to call it now Have Barclays REALLY pulled the plug on the Overdraft situation over a comparitively small £100K Something really does Stink IMHO

Who knows it is dangerous times. Now he has left (allegedly) I dont want him to return and the rest to go with him. I will be happier when the others are gone as well.

I just get the idea that Rupes has come back to get the club set up ready to go into admin and be in a decent position to come back again - much of the debt. The knowledge he would have picked up these past few months would be much more than Crouch has and he has more than likly steered the club in the most preferable position for him self than anyone else. So wouldnt be suprised at all if he comes back with yet another master plan.

I got a text from Son of Bob this morning who said he saw a car with the number plate K 84 TES heading south on the M3 - it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Ken Bates is going to brief Lowe on "best practice" regarding placing a company into administration and emerging in complete control at the end of it...

The more you think about it the more it seems it could be the case.I think if he did it would end in meltdown unless he had a massive investment with him. It was good to see LM pleading for fans to turn up last night.

I am surprised over the potential retention of points that gives the team a fighting chance, but the destruction of the plc and resignation of Lowe and Wilde may just be the most important and super day in Saints recent history. I am watching carefully, but I think this may just be the start of a wave of optimism. NOW LETS SUPPORT THE TEAM...GET TO THE GAME ON SATURDAY...WE HAVE A RELEGATION BATTLE TO WIN. LOWES GONE! OPTIMISM... OPTIMISM.... may just about to be returning to Saints! We're on our way back. LETS GET THAT BUYER. LETS GET BEHIND ILLINGWORTHS CALL AND FILL SMS ON SATURDAY. LETS ALL SELL THIS CLUB!!!!
