They didnt come up with the goods obviously. There was talk of somebody on the eve of administration but couldnt get the funds together.Another Fulthorpe it seems.

Or not willing to place the same inflated value on the club as Rupert ?

Again...you just run around in circles....Stupert was the board, ask those to whom opposed him.
Well if they were so weak minded they dont deserve to be part of any board. What a pathetic bunch they must have been if they didnt have the balls to stand up and be counted.I suggest that it want the case as if I recall the board outvoted him regarding Hoddle.

And if it's too little too late? Still welcome back the rubberneckers because that is what they amount to?

Typical - A commercial business goes bust, so lets blame the customers shall we!! not those whose mismanaged it - ie Lowe and Co

nick.........you keep throwing up these misty quotes, but don't give ant facts. If you have something to say, then say it, as you appear to be the only (ITK) person to be saying this.

In the end...they did, hence the end of Stupert chapter 1.

This is about ticket sales ffs. I dont give a flying f **** about Lowe, **** off somewhere else if you want to argue.

GROW UP

Absolutely. I suggest those crying in their beer about his departure go and bleat about it on another thread..

If the alternative was to wash the melted mush down the drain, I'd take his offer. Rupe's would hold out for the full amount and find himself knee deep in a raspberry ripple lake without a penny to buy a mop.

At 1.45pm we'd sold 24k

So will we sell out the rest? Given that everyone, from the administrator to the Echo, is making such a big thing of "selling out to attract investment" will it look bad if we get anything less than a full ground?

Posted

I imagine there will be a large walk up tomorrow. David Luker said to me that the TO are urging all fans who have bought over the phone to try & collect tonight as opposed to tomorrow as there will be large ques.

Ticket office also open til 8pm tonight so plenty of time for people to get their tickets on the way home from work.

23k sold as of 3pm, thats 2.5k sold as of opening time this morning (7 hours). 5 hours left today & 7 tomorrow to shift 9.5k tickets seems a bit of a big ask. At a rate of 2.5k per 7 hours we'll end up with an attendance of around 28/29k.

If we don't sell out, I assume those non-attendees don't care if the club goes under

I am afraid I will be a non-attendee, do to a combination of geography and family commitments, but I most certainly DO care

Somebody is telling porkies. Luker quoted me at 23k at 3pm.

If we can reach 26 or 27k by the end of today then i think we'll sell out with the walk up tomorrow.

Hmm, I find it hard to believe we only shifted 500 in 3 hours since midday...

Does seem strange considering 1.5k was sold this morning in 4 hours. I'll get another update around 5pm.

The ticket office have posted on here before, so suggest to them to give us an update rather than you having to keep calling in.

current figure is approaching 23.5k.

We have had a 7k walkup before on a matchday, so there is no reason to think we cant sell out. We are open until 8pm tonight also.

Thank you all who have emailed me ideas for fund generation at this crucial time.

Best wishes

Many thanks David.

It's so refreshing to have such open communication, it has such a positive impact on all concerned.

thanks David. Honest question: (because I haven't seen you post on here for a while) Did Rupert Lowe ban you from posting on here?

That sounds like the sort of thing he might do.

Keep them sales going!

buy yourself a ticket, buy for friends and your children - show the players that SFC means something to us not just a plc disappearing.

Trying to persuade my children that this is more important than a friends party!
