'the fa says any possible 10 point deduction penalty on saints if they go into admin will not come into effect until next season'

according to the daily mail.

Well I think this shows the Daily Mail maintains the reputation for truth and accuracy we all know it has.

Especially as it's the Football League not the FA that impose the rules and penalties.

You would think Lowe investigated the loophole that may exist to avoid the penalty, do the FA and Football League work to the same guidelines and would Lowes time at the FA have any influence over a decision ?

Not that I'm aware of, but I'm sure there would be some discussion for consistency. The EPL is awash with money so the chances of a club going into administration is rather remote. Man Utd have huge debt but as a going concern it made £80m last financial year.

I doubt Lowe has any influence in the FA anymore. It's been four years since he was on the committee and any sub-committees.

Am I the only one who thinks we won't be completely doomed if we go down? I think we'll stay up if we can keep hold of the likes of James, Mills, Thomson and Gillett.
