And there were plenty of us on here (S4E) who were worried aboyut Wilde when he first turned up... but funnily enough I dont think we rubbed that one in...

Un-be-****ing-lievable. You're really on form today Frank.

No I am saddened and now angry at teh knobs on here who think its a great opportunity to score points.... how that can be interpreted as smug is beyond me.....

F**k me, add lack of self-awareness to smugness, stupidity and a prediliction for sitting on fences with round protuberances......

No I will not rise to that, so back to the thread - 'not a time for division' - I think this as a problem is over emphasised generally - sure there is plenty of differing opinion on many of teh clubs perspectives, but can this be clased as division/ not sure it can, we dont have hoards of opposing fans squaring up out side St Mary's the vast majority just want stabilty, an end to the decline and entertaining football with wins! - we only really differ on how this could best be achieved and for the most parts its difering opinion rather than 'divisions' - this forum is afterall only reflective of a TINY percentage of fans - not the vast majority who attend week in week ou.

Wow, i am actually quite shocked at how quickly this thread turned into a slagging match.

As for alpine, how the hell have i spent months and months going against everyone ?? I have never been one to ever shoot down anyones opinions, i am not sure that anybody really knew what the hell was going on.

I was hoping some people would sit down, look at what is happening to the club and realise that the damage is done, time to move on and attempt to help rebuild the club, we are not going to do that with all this pathetic devisions.

Understand that the clubs future is in threat people, i really couldn't give a f*ck right now who is right and wrong and who has got one over somebody else and especially not the i told you so ********.

The real worry is Southampton FC, end of.

I'm thinking I may start a new forum, called stanleyweb.com

There we can discuss and praise the amazing visionary that is Stanley. In years time, we can build a shrine to him, and any that does not repent his support of the Lowe (or even the club in this situation) is to be offered as a sacrifice.

Otherwise we can just call him a **** as he isn't one of us.

you are being hounded, just draw breath and carry on. It is a form of bullying some can stand up to it others can't.

That would have been more appropriate after one of Frank's posts. You know, the ones where he calls people stupid for having alternative views to his own.

A thread entitled 'Not a time for division' degenerates into a complete and utter farce within 15 posts, after 2 pages it's all out war...

Little wonder that many users have opted to sit and watch rather than contribute.

In the 1920's there was the great depression and the Wall Street crash. After this governements swore never to let it happen again by regulating financial institutions. Here we are in 2009 and the same mistake have happened again and we are heading for another global depression.

History always repeats itself and therefore it's wise to look back to see the future. Those batting for Lowe have been shown to have poor judgement and this should be remembered.

But Stanley, will you be at St Mary's on Saturday, and will you be able to bring any fair-weather or stay-away supporters to this crucial match (crucial assuming we may yet escape a 10 points deduction).

That could be good judgement.

History is already written. The future isn't.

I'm working, i don't think i could get the time off now due to a few on the sick, and it's double time which i can't afford to turn my nose up at.

Yeah, you only joined in March. Not one of those multiple personalities, surely. :o

There are seventy reasons on this thread (less a couple of sane posts) as to why this club is in the shyte. A divided fanbase will lead to the long term destruction of this club faster than Rupert Lowe, Leon Crouch or Michael Wilde ever could.

.... But carry on fighting if you want. Wake me when we get to the Ryman Premiership.

I think post #55 is relevant.

But that's not really the point of this thread. Now is not the time for petty point scoring (the team excepted of course!), it's a time to try and unite the fan base and maybe, just maybe the departure of RL and MW can lead to this but whether it's too late only time will tell.

That is the only good thing that comes from this. There again if i still see Askham and all the others still in the directors box it will make me really bitter and twisted.
