saint_bert Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Absoloutly F all on there about todays announcements What a suprise
skintsaint Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 maybe the team who update the site dont start till 8.30am?
Gemmel Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Absoloutly F all on there about todays announcements What a suprise Not really, in many ways it is in keeping with the utter contempt the club have shown the fans over the last ten years. Everybody else had their stories prepared, just ready to push the button. The club don't bother, they've saved the space for getting people to the Charlton match. Well, ironically this one might sell out now, certainly if a couple of of non executives are attening, but surely even they wouldnt have the brass necks to show their faces
eurosaint Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 maybe the team who update the site dont start till 8.30am? Still a disgrace IMHO !
Doctoroncall Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 maybe the team who update the site dont start till 8.30am? You would have thought that for one day, it could have been an exception with such important news coming from the club... just shows how important we have become.
Gemmel Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 maybe the team who update the site dont start till 8.30am? Many articles have been added in the night or early morning in the past
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Many articles have been added in the night or early morning in the past Doesn't administration get confirmed at 11.00am. Surely it's not prudent to put something on there until this time?
fish fingers Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 They are getting their April Fools joke ready.
St.Patrik Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Perhaps they are waiting for Wupert and Wilde to sod off so they can make a nice big article about that as well....
Gemmel Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Doesn't administration get confirmed at 11.00am. Surely it's not prudent to put something on there until this time? I dont think we will be going to in administration today, from what i can gather (And could be wrong) it is a case of we are no longer a going concern and will go in administration in the next week or so unless we can get some investment. Someone posted yesterday it would be like coventry and so far that seems about right
dubai_phil Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Just a point - maybe the people who have the ability & knowledge to dictate a statement for the OS are a tad busy on other matters?
L1Minus10 Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Maybe they're distancing the football club from the plc.
eurosaint Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Just a point - maybe the people who have the ability & knowledge to dictate a statement for the OS are a tad busy on other matters? B] Spot on ! They have just announced the player of the month ! (must deem this to be more important than going bust ?).
hypochondriac Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Laughable. Saints announce they are going to go into admin soon and we get the player of the month article!
dubai_phil Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Spot on ! They have just announced the player of the month ! (must deem this to be more important than going bust ?). How about looking at it this way. Web Bloke - "Hey Rupe's/MW et al I need a statement for the OS, can you stop talking to the Bank/Council/Lawyer/Investors/Stock Exchange and dictate something for us, surely it is more important that you stop trying to save us and tell the fans you are trying to save us...."

But they knew this was coming. Someone could have knocked up a rough copy of something yesterday. As it is we have rubbish news stories with no comment on the big one!
JustMike Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 maybe they are waiting until after the board meeteing?
hypochondriac Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Get over it. Just read it elsewhere. Does it really matter where the content comes from? Firstly there are many fans who just go to the OS for news so yes it does matter and secondly I imagine the OS will enlighten us further about this. That's why I'm waiting for it.
SaintBobby Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 It is pitiful. If you can't even cover major news about yourself, your website is pretty redundant. Even just something saying "Trading in SLH shares has been suspended. A statement will be issued at 11am". FFS.

SaintBobby Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Complain then I have. And have suggested a cost-cutting measure in these troubled times would be to close the official website.
Pancake Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11578 Quality article IMHO.
trousers Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11578 Quality article IMHO. :---)..
JustMike Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11578 Quality article IMHO. says it all
Cricketphilly Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11578 Quality article IMHO. Absolute beauty SFC! Keep everyone in loop.
Alain Perrin Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 Are you guys stupid? If the attempt here is to seperate the fortunes of SFC and SLH, then the last thing Saints should be doing is using the SFC to actively report SLH news. The Hemscott link is appropriately distanced.

Don't be pathetic. They wouldn't decide whether they were one and the same based on an article on the OS!
Pancake Posted 1 April, 2009 Posted 1 April, 2009 http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=11635 Can we move this discussion (the non-abuse part, obviously) to this new thread please?
