buctootim Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Glillet is getting attention deep inside his own box.
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Creating opportunities but not putting them away Story of our first too league games as well.
MulletMan Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Creating opportunities but not putting them away I have heard that many times before.
benjii Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 You got to be putting these chances away! Nice of you to listen Our superior listening figures will no doubt ensure that Solent continue to keep us on FM and leave Pompey in the AM yesteryear they belong in.
benjii Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Glillet is getting attention deep inside his own box.
benjii Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Dave Armstrong says Derby are gash at the back. Good news.
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Svensson clears five times in a row in 15 seconds, unbelievable.
musesaint Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 I have heard that many times before. And I think you may hear it a lot more before the end of the season
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 A string of Derby corners are cleared by Svensson - he is undoubtedly the best defender in this league.
saintjay77 Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Glillet is getting attention deep inside his own box. I proper LOL'd
Um Bongo Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 A string of Derby corners are cleared by Svensson - he is undoubtedly the best defender in this league. For clearing corners?
musesaint Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Last week we missed three clear chances in the first half against the Brumies Let's hope the two we've missed already aren't going to cost us the same pain FFS!
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 For clearing corners? They were two unrelated statements.
Um Bongo Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 They were two unrelated statements. I agree with you btw. Just checking.
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Lallana with a good ball through to McGoldrick, offside. Those two seem to understand each other very well according to Cope and Armstrong.
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Pull back to McGoldrick, shoots and it's deflected for a corner. Come on Saints!!!!!!!
buctootim Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 (edited) Boys are doing well. Just need to finish a little bit better. Edited 23 August, 2008 by buctootim
scott_saints Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Reckon we look thebetter side on spy sports. We'll lose then...
Rasiak-9- Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 I'm watching soccer saturday at the moment and i've never been more sure of anything in my life: We'll dominate them for 89 minutes They'll score from a deflection in the 90th minute and i'll have to put up with Jeff Stelling screaming "AND A GOAL AT DERBY! AND THE WAIT FOR PAUL JEWELL AND DERBY COUNTY COULD BE FINALLY OVER!!!!!!!" from what i've heard we're absolutely all over them.
Thedelldays Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 we simply have to score when we are on top like this....
Colinjb Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Sounds like Derby are sh*te. As said we MUST score.
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Savage high over the cross bar - f*cking dirty b*stard.
St.Patrik Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Didnt Poortvliet said the other day that he looked for another striker ? I think he´s spot on theresadly.
Leicestersaint Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Blackstock has scored again for QPR - he's one we let slip through our fingers thanks to managerial incompetence.
Thedelldays Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 FFS you just know we will pay of these misses in the 2nd half
benjii Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 ********!! Thought Lallana was going to score. I've got a couple of tidy little bets on that.
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 scored last week and it wasnt enough What do you suggest we do then? Other than score, I mean. Lallana has a double chance, Carroll is looking very good with one-on-ones.
musesaint Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Didnt Poortvliet said the other day that he looked for another striker ? I think he´s spot on theresadly. Should have kept Rasiak ....FFS!
musesaint Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Blackstock has scored again for QPR - he's one we let slip through our fingers thanks to managerial incompetence. One of many!
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Blackstock has scored again for QPR - he's one we let slip through our fingers thanks to managerial incompetence. Wrong - we wanted him to stay, but he wanted to leave. He wasn't going to be in our first team at the time and QPR could guarantee him first team football.
St.Patrik Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 If Rasiak was on smaller wages I´ll bet that he would be playing now for Saints : (
mcjwills Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Should have kept Rasiak ....FFS! Yeah but nobody would have had any buttons left on their shirts after we have paid him!!
Saint_clark Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Holmes lobs Carroll again, defender clears.
buctootim Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 If Rasiak was on smaller wages I´ll bet that he would be playing now for Saints : ( Very true. Find someone who will sponsor his £750,000 a year and he could be again.
MulletMan Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 How many chances do we need, ffs?! In with John instead of McGoldrick.
benjii Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 How many chances do we need, ffs?! In with John instead of McGoldrick. They don't sound like "Stern John" chances though. Ie. John may have finished them but they have been created by quick through balls - more DMcG's bag than Stern's. Think Stern could be a really useful sub, allowing us to change our style a bit later on if needed.
musesaint Posted 23 August, 2008 Posted 23 August, 2008 Yeah but nobody would have had any buttons left on their shirts after we have paid him!! And we wont when we go into administration either Rasiak with the kids would be putting them away like Phillips is That's where we have F*cuk'd up
