spyinthesky Posted 30 March, 2009 Share Posted 30 March, 2009 Few of us were trying to work out how many works sports grounds, in/around Soton, there are remaining and those no longer supported by the parent company involved. Have got 3 remaining and 7 gone. Who wants to have a stab at meeting/bettering this total?
Robsk II Posted 30 March, 2009 Share Posted 30 March, 2009 This is quite the exciting challenge. But I am too busy, alas, counting the number of molecules on my ceiling.

Any more details? It was a great pitch that Southampton schoolboys used to play on..I watched Teddy Nutkins a poster on the main forum play there. It was known as the Gas Works Ground locally by us Redbridge lot. It also had a great cricket pitch as well ...I played in a team with Bob Mitchell the MP once there and took a catch of his bowling http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Mitchell_(UK_politician).
