Recommend a pub near calshot?

My bro-in-law is having something special arranged at the velodrome for his birthday, and there's about 20 of us heading down.

 

We need somewhere to eat, no more than 10 mins drive from Calshot, pubgrub is fine, but presume some of you on here know that area and could recommend somewhere?

We went there on a school trip many years ago, one of the girls broke her neck falling off her bike on the velodrome, best of luck.

Yeah, the bar in the same hanger as the Velodrome is perfectly suitable. Specialises in good Thai food, although they do other stuff too, and they have excellent Czech Budvar Budweiser beer [none of that US soap], amongst other offerings. View of The Solent is nice too.

I used to live about 3 miles from Calshot Baj and can recommend a pub called "The Old Mill" in Holbury.

The Spinnaker Bar in the Activity Centre often go there and went there last week, good cheap pub grub if thats what you want. The Jolly Sailor at Ashlett Creek is also opening soon if it hasnt already and would be a good choice as well, I presume they will be doing food again.
