hamster Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 Why don't we just throw in another tenner? The answer is within the question Tezzer?
hamster Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 Right, e-mails have been sent. And received. Thanks stevo, I assume Home is red and white stripes?
hamster Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 If you're still open to suggestions, could you organise a penalty competition so that we all have the opportunity to say we actually scored in front of The Northam?
stevegrant Posted 25 March, 2009 Author Posted 25 March, 2009 I assume Home is red and white stripes? Yep.
prideofthesouth Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 cant you post up the teams on here so we know who we are playing against
stevegrant Posted 25 March, 2009 Author Posted 25 March, 2009 Gutted. Nevermind. There are still two 45-minute slots available (one at centre-back, the other at left midfield).

Totton Red Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 Must say that I havent bothered with the forum for the past few months. Came back tonight and expected some debateable headline news discussing the future of SFC?...obviously a sticky for the minority is more important!!
Nexstar Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 Nice, upfront with you i see! White socks should be easy to arrange, lets just hope phil is an insightful manager

Edmonton Saint Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 I hope baj and magnet are not quick! One thing I hate as a centre back is playing against pace!
Totton Red Posted 25 March, 2009 Posted 25 March, 2009 If it doesn't interest you dont read it!:smt083 Do you mean don't read it or don't respond?....can easily deal with ignoring but I expect the website that i pay towards to have headline news about the club, both on the pitch and its current financial position!

However...having said my preferred position would be midfield in the first email... And then having sent a second email fully cut at half past five in the morning (shortly before i had one of the most harrowing experiences of my life after going back out drinking in Berlin) where i put that i am very left footed...or at least it kind of comes across that way having read it back... I would kind of hope to have that left midfield place (since nobody wants it) nailed down if possible? Hook a brother up... I've got a lovely cross on me?
Scudamore Posted 26 March, 2009 Posted 26 March, 2009 That also means i get to work under Dubai Phil...so to speak... I think we all dream of that...
Saint_clark Posted 26 March, 2009 Posted 26 March, 2009 There are still two 45-minute slots available (one at centre-back, the other at left midfield). Nah neither are suitable for me or the other guy I mentioned really. We've been talking about organising another match with a load of lads from down here in Weymouth anyway. Does anyone have a link to the OS article about this? Cannot spot it in the archive for the life of me.

forever a red and white Posted 26 March, 2009 Posted 26 March, 2009 (edited) why red shorts with the away kit? why not black shorts, not comlaining, just asking? Edited 26 March, 2009 by forever a red and white
dubai_phil Posted 26 March, 2009 Posted 26 March, 2009 OK Home Team, I just want you all to know that I am taking this VERY seriously. I am sure that after our resounding success on the big day I will be in prime position for the role as Saints Coach next season. As I see it, I'll be an almost internal candidate, I'll have no idea what I am doing in the match day situation and I can make nice condescending speeches about the fans/weather/pitch/ref, makes me odds on I reckon! Meanwhile to show how seriously I am taking this I am just going out to search for some important books on the subject so I can pass on some wisdom in the run-up. I'm told some of the old second hand bookshops may still hold copies of the right stuff.. MS Football Management for Dummies (with forward by JP apparently) And most importantly The StuRomseySaint's Guide to Match Fitness Apparently getting fit is a pretty important starting point. An ex egg chasing mate of mine says that one good way to improve fitness levels is to stand up at the bar all night instead of sitting down. Will see what I can dig up in regard to proper fitness tests
Baj Posted 26 March, 2009 Posted 26 March, 2009 why red shorts with the away kit? why not black shorts, not comlaining, just asking? Probably cos the homekit has black shorts?

Mercifully my request has been granted by Steve over the PM's... So it is now my intention to terrorise you in the second half... If your pace is anything like Lloyd James it should be fun!
