chrisobee Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 At least it is an ATR televised meeting so I can see ALL the races
chrisobee Posted 26 September, 2009 Posted 26 September, 2009 1.55 Shamwari Lodge 2.30 Joshua Tree ew 3.05 Lady Dashan 3.40 Axiom ew 4.15 Rip Van Winkle NAP- but too short to back for me 4.50 Red Dune 5.25 Sweetheart EW Yankee- Joshua Tree, Lady Darshan, Axiom, Red Dune, Good luck Stevo ! None too shabby with Joshua Tree winning at 12/1 and Lady Darshan, Axiom, Red Dune all 2nd at 9/1, 12/1 and 10/1. RPW also won as expected.
saint_stevo Posted 29 September, 2009 Posted 29 September, 2009 LOL at a bloke in Coral today telling me he had a sure thing....Ghost Hunter in the 2:10 at Warwick. Watch as he puts £400 on the nose.....and it comes second. Happily i picked the winner out of the pack at 8's, had a cheeky 10er on it. Hell yeah

Hell yeah Ha Ha nice one SS I love it when someone says they have a sure thing. If it's that good you want as little as possible people punting on it. I guess Australian racing is a bit out of your betting times ? I used to train greyhounds and normally have one or two each week that is a decent bet. Certainly doesn't hurt giving a few OS tips
chrisobee Posted 2 October, 2009 Posted 2 October, 2009 Really cannot resist a small bet on : Ling 5.35 Good Buy Dubai Plus Wolv 5.50 Kersivay ew EW double

chrisobee Posted 3 October, 2009 Posted 3 October, 2009 (edited) Newmarket 3.00 Ghanati NAP Not a great price at 6/4 but having found only Rip Van Winkle and Paco Boy too good in the Sussex Stakes looks the one to be on here with Fantasia and Heaven Sent the obvious dangers. 3.45 Which Doctor- very small ew bet in a 33 runner charge. But the 66/1( 12/1 to be placed) on Betfair proved too tempting ! 4.15 Cash Queen Anna Been well backed on the exchanges, another one for minimum stakes at around 6/1 4.50 Spanish Bounty ew Generally 16/s but I've got 20/1 at Skybet, 18/1 is available at VC. Redcar 3.15 Pastoral Player- though the current price of 7/2 is now too short me. Was 6/1. 5.05 Bravely ew Wolverhampton 8.45 Brad's Luck- another one which has been cut, now 8/1 from 14/1. Any shorter and does not represent value for me. Still looking at a few more, a decent weekend of racing with of course the Arc tomorrow the highlight. Would love to see Youmzain win but Sea the Stars will be hard to beat though at 14/1 last year's French Derby winner Vision D'etat represents good value having gone on to also land The Prince of Wales Stakes. chrisobee Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 4.50 Spanish Bounty ew Generally 16/s but I've got 20/1 at Skybet, 18/1 is available at VC. Curses, an awful day anyway but which beast went and won this race ? Aldermoor at 25/1. I've backed it at long odds several times but gave up after it's last awful run. Wouldn't you just know it would win today !!!!
bungle Posted 4 October, 2009 Author Posted 4 October, 2009 I am backing Channon's Youmzain in the Arc D'Triomphe.
chrisobee Posted 4 October, 2009 Posted 4 October, 2009 (edited) I am backing Channon's Youmzain in the Arc D'Triomphe. That makes 2 of us though I'm not sure if it is heart or head TBH ! 2nd again at 20/1, ran a great race. Edited 4 October, 2009 by chrisobee
bungle Posted 5 October, 2009 Author Posted 5 October, 2009 Sadly scotbet only had it at 16/1. Still, got a bit of money back - should fund some bets for the week ahead!

chrisobee Posted 6 October, 2009 Posted 6 October, 2009 Folkestone 4.50 Good Buy Dubai ew - Backed this LTO when finishing 5th but only the rails prevented the jockey taking it any wider around the turn that it actually ran. Must have lost at least 10 lengths so will give it another chance.
