hamster Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 Well if you will look gift horses ( no pun intended !) in the mouth......... I did post my tips on the Tip Exchange: http://www.tipexchange.co.uk/v3/tipster_account/home/ 15:00 Newc Back 1pt Elkhorn 7.4 Lost -1.00 15:50 Folk Back 1pt Corton Charlemagne 2.88 Won 1.79 16:25 Clon Back 1pt Binocular 5.95 Won 4.70 16:30 Newc EW 1pt Hawkit 7/1 Place 0.75 Total: 6.24[/quote] Call me stupid but if I hade put £1 on each of your suggested beys, are you saying that I would be £6.24 up, or is that my total stake (£4) times 6.24, ie £24.96? I am sure you get fed up with explaining the ins and outs but would you make an exception for little old me please chris? Cheers v much.

Yes, that would be your profit based on £1 per point, with the bet on Hawkit being £1 ew though in truth at that price I might well have gone for win only but 14/1 was available when I posted the tips.
chrisobee Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 No tips as such but a couple of pieces of info: Goodwood 2.00 Sand Repeal- has been placed in 5 of her last 7 runs and 4th on another occassion. Currently best priced 5/1 at Hills, might be worth a few quid. Goodwood 4.20 Obvious- the market will tell you that this horse is not expected to win, currently trading at 66/1. Even the owners don't think it will win but after today it will have an official rating and is worth noting for future runs when any market support is likely to be significant.
chocco boxo Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 Sky Quest 2:00 Goodwood for me and Momtaz e/w in the next race at Goodwood.
saint_stevo Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 dodgy link? Please log on to view your Tipster account details.
saint_stevo Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 Not a fan of Tips Exchange, cant find Select Racing on there anywhere. Sucks, gonna go it alone today, and rethink after that
chrisobee Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 Not a fan of Tips Exchange, cant find Select Racing on there anywhere. Sucks, gonna go it alone today, and rethink after that That's fine by me, I don't gain if you register anyway! However, there are plenty of very good ( free) tipsters on there. This link WILL work ! http://www.tipexchange.co.uk/v3/horse_racing/tables/free_tipsters/ The previous one I guess you could not see properly as it's my home page and the link was when I was logged on so you would probably just see a login page!
chrisobee Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 Lingfield 5.05 Micky Channon runs Texas Queen in this race and she has run 2 reasonable races to date and Mick gave her a special mention a while back, Problem in this race there are too many newcomers though 11/1 is a tempting price if only for a few quid.

chrisobee Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 takes me here- http://www.tipexchange.co.uk/v3/horse_racing/tables/free_tipsters/ which is the same link, but i cant see your tips on there You weren't meant to ! It was a link to the page which lists the performances of the best free tipsters, eg you'll see XLR8 at the top with 94.47 points profit though only I week trial then £100 per month!! However, next is The Piecost Selections which does not charge and still shows 92pts profit.
chrisobee Posted 8 September, 2009 Posted 8 September, 2009 oh so it wasnt a link to your tips The first link was but would not work as it only takes you to my log in so although I can see the tips( if I'm logged in) you cannot! On the 2nd link you will need to go down a way as I think I'm shown as -2.96pts and not even in the top 50

Hatch Posted 14 September, 2009 Posted 14 September, 2009 Already today there has been 33/1, 40/1 , 50/1 and a 66/1 winners. And places for 40/1 twice and 100/1. Bonkers.
chrisobee Posted 14 September, 2009 Posted 14 September, 2009 Already today there has been 33/1, 40/1 , 50/1 and a 66/1 winners. And places for 40/1 twice and 100/1. Bonkers. That's almost unbelievable but also the reason why I now only play for small stakes and really just as a bit of interest. Those 4 winners = 4491366/1 !!
chrisobee Posted 15 September, 2009 Posted 15 September, 2009 howd we do chrissy boy? IF we had backed the horses Hatch mentioned we would have done very well indeed, we didn't did we. How typical

chrisobee Posted 18 September, 2009 Posted 18 September, 2009 Archers Road running today i believe Already ran, 3.30 at Ayr. Finished 4th at 18/1 in a blanket finish for the places. Think it was beaten by a nose and a neck for 2nd and 3rd. Not sure if that is 100% correct but very tight though the winner was well clear.
