Fans 'Parliament Launch

To be fair Frank it was obvious you were going to be used BEFORE the meeting. You only have to look back to how Mike used Keith Legg and Trust to work out how he'd operate.

Perhaps, but I would still do it again if only to hear what they have to say...what i would not do again is all teh confidentiallity stuff, that was the worst of it because it made a mockery of the thing - had there been something really positive taht was sensitive, then fair enough, but just using us to bounce and idea off was unfair and cynical.

You miss the gist i'm getting at. Just concentrate on this part.

It seems to me that Messrs H & D really think they are the masters of PR and spin. Not a day goes by without some new "leak" or statement designed to further their personal agendas.

IMO they seem to have grossly overestimated their PR skills and underestimated the intelligence of their customer base.

Their agendas are transparent in the extreme and they have lost all credibility as a result.

Do you see the irony?

I have to say stanley' date=' that in te CEO case, I cant answer as to the success - because 1) I dont know what state the finances were in when Lowe came back and 2) I dont know what state they are in now. If they have significantly improved, then he has been successful, if they have stayed teh same or gotten worse, then he has failed so far. As to teh Chirman (footballclub I presume), well I cant say I have seemn wilde do very much todate, he seems to remain very quiet.....[/quote']

The funniest thing on radio lately is that they are using Wilde's voice in their 'local football' trailers on Solent....almost as if they are saying....

'LOOK HE SOMETIMES SPEAKS AND WHEN HE DOES IT IS TO US!!!!!!!'

Let's put it this way - I didn't realise it was him at first...scouse accent..??? Rupey would never allow that in the Boardroom...!

What surprised me is that he didn't finish off with 'COYR'....

If you're reading this though Mike, I feel sorry for you I really do...Best intentions the first time and all that.

Second time round........it was doomed to fail from the very beginning.

I actually agree with bit about Mike having "best intentions first time" but he's made too many mistakes and ultimately i feel personally betrayed by his backing of Lowe. Believe it or not i think he's probably a nice guy, but at the end of the day he must be judged on his actions.

I do see the irony..by the way

But doing it agin? Nah, course i would, maybe I saw Ghandi too many times when growing up...every time they beat you to the ground you just get up again...eventually you ware them down ;-)

It's a shame Jeremy Paxman isn't a Saints fan as it's people like him that are required for the Parliament. If anyone does take part the only advice i'd give would be to never lower your guard and don't trust a word the club say.

I'd like to see Rupert on Dragons Den to be honest...

How entertaining would that be.

Would that be on the panel of Dragons, or touting for money for the club? Could you imagine the ego massage that Lowe would have if he was wealthy enough to be a Dragon, having people licking his boots pleading for investment? But as we all know, as much as he loves to give the impression of it, he isn't anywhere near that level of wealth, or else he would have a bit more than 6% of the club.

He'd be useless as a politician - hence why he never made it in that vocation. Lowe is alright when he's in charge of a sitution, but on Dragons Den or in the political arena he'd lose his cool under pressure and get rattled.

He totally lost his cool at the AGM which was very amusing and he lost his cool in this interview too.

Right at the very last seconds watch Lowes face and reaction. It's pure Lowe.

Wes, I'd only want him on there so he could be publicly torn to shreds by Bannatyne and Theo...

Imagine...

'SO you're telling me that you intend to gain promotion from the Championship using kids from your Youth Team and a coach from the lower Dutch Leagues? You're business plan is full of holes and for that reason, I'M OUT'

The look on his face would be priceless...

Lowe replies, "But....but....but.... I've got two really exciting letters that might change your mind.

Firstly, I've got this letter from the highly respected and regarded Chris Iwelumo saying we're brilliant and secondly I've got this anonymous letter that I received on the morning of our last AGM saying everything was going great guns. Come on guys, you've got to respect those references!"

I see Wolves fans parliament seems to be reflecting Mick Mac's dynamism!

What a dull agenda! Wonder what ours will be like?

I dont know, would be good to get a full and clear picture of a finance review - altough not sure how much PLC rules dictate what can be said etc.... NOt sure we would need a football review, afterall I think we all know how thats going! ;-)

We won't though. The fans parliament is established with regards to the running of the footballing side of the Club not the plc. Perhaps members will be able to ask Mike Wilde to put different things into programme notes and decide what colour away strip to opt for, but not sure what else it will be able to achieve. This is a plc not a football club. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do not believe Wolves is not a plc.

Nominations for the lucky half dozen below...
