7 of us spending the Saturday night in the hellhole that is Blackpool.

I can understand why people can't be arsed with going this season after doing it last season. Massive game though and just hope it doesn't **** down with rain as we've got that awful away end.

Going up saturday and staying overnight. Was a quality weekend last year. With loads of saints in The manchester before the game hopefully we will get as many up there as last year but doubt it even though its a massive game fior us.

I hope it doesn't pour down with rain like it it did last season. Got absolutely soaked on the open stand that shakes when you jump up and down.

Locals call it the 'Gene Kelly' :)

Four of us travelling up early Saturday, meeting 10 who are travelling Friday, back Sunday pm, after the pleasure beach!

I remember the forum the morning after. I think there was a video posted on the internet involving a couple of our players. Then The Pearson Factor really kicked in and the future looked promising, some were even saying that relegation would be the start of a resurection on a scale never before seen.

Utter **** hole, but a cracking weekend and can't wait. Getting up there Friday afternoon with a few others and back Sunday. Was epic up there last year, what with a few Pompey lads coming over to Blackpool from there cup game in Manchester...

We have been given 1700 tickets & i doubt we would sell those so any tickets remaining will be sent back to Blackpool & can be bought on the day.

Thats from the Blackpool ticket office.

So if youv bought a ticket before hand & its ****ing down then off you go,

but if you wait till the day & its ****ing down then youv lost no money & stay in the pub.!

20 + London Saints going up Friday afternoon, returning after game.

3 of those are also staying for Saturday night, and being joined by 3 Dutch Saints who flying over Friday and staying friday night in Liverpool, Saturday night Blackpool.

Will saturday morning consist of being in that bar again as per last year? Even if it was a bit 'rammo'.

Having to travel from Clacton is actually a LONGER trip the if I was travelling from home and I can't leave work till 3pm at the earliest on the friday! A stupid question for you mechanically minded out there: My little Citroen AX beast of a 1.0 (!!!!) has 93,000 miles on the clock...what are the odds of it dying on me halfway up the M6?

7 of us did the weekender last season, bloomin' brilliant.

Being more reserved this year and staying in Chester. How very civil.

Why Chester may I ask? As you can tell from the name, I live here!

Been before (the couple of days before the Blackpool game last season, actually!) and quite like the place.

And it's more local than Blackpool to go shopping at Ellesmere Port on Sunday. ;)

They have a very big supporters club at the ground which we were very welcomed in last season. We are only going up and back on Saturday so wont have time to go anywhere else, but plenty of pubs within a short walking distance to the ground.

Waterloo.

Decent pub, us Northern Saints drank in there last season. The only downside was seeing those dirty Skates fluke a cup win against Utd whilst we all shouted abuse at the big screen to the bemusement of the locals.

Brannagans on the Friday night last year was brill. 100s of ****ed up Saints fans having a good bop to a band. And the band played OWTSGMI, great night. Can't make it this time unfortunately, I have to work and don't get any holiday entitlement untill April. ********

I wonder if Stu will be ejected again this year?

Oh how we laughed when he was frog marched out by Lancashires Finest!!

There was a picture posted on here to commemorate and confirm it was him!!!

The Waterloo wasn't bad except we watched the Skates win at ManU on their way to Cardiff.

Landlord was a big bloke but seemed to enjoy the banter. Filled up with Blackpool fans towards 1pm but it was all good clean fun!

It's a bit bleak on that temporary stand - and forget getting anything to eat at HT - fill up before you in! Stewards were absolute kn*bs - and the police not much better - well that's what Stu said in his defence!!!

Not got a ticket and paid on the gate last year - doubt if they have a ticket office really.

I bet Brett scores against us but won't celebrate with great enthusiasm - after all Kevin Philips is now at Birmingham.

It's run down, but is a holiday resort so people are geered up for ***ats all p*ssed up so it's nothing new to them they get it week in and week out.

Three points please lads - make my day!

We were in there last season too, sat right alongside you lot!

Yes, the abuse was funny - shame the result didn't give us the same amusement though! See ya in there.

That's not still going is it?

I remember falling into that most nights of the week after work in the winter and not leaving till they kicked us out at 1.00am. The joys of £1 a pint out of season too :)
