Pancake Posted 13 March, 2009 Share Posted 13 March, 2009 If I did bet on Saints I would go for a 1-1 DMG and Blackstock.
Mole Posted 13 March, 2009 Share Posted 13 March, 2009 Scorecasts are for mugs, as is the first goal scorer. In the old days Le tiss was a good bet for first scorer but nowadays don't bother. Just take a short price on the home win if you're so inclined.
KK the 2nd Posted 13 March, 2009 Share Posted 13 March, 2009 I'm on Size at 33/1 to score 1st goal, same bet last goalscorer. I always used to do ok with this bet when Killer was playing. Size I think is a similar player - would come up for the corners and looks like he could score. Only need to get right a couple of times a season to make a profit. Verbal Kint Posted 20 March, 2009 Share Posted 20 March, 2009 Scorecasts are for mugs, as is the first goal scorer. In the old days Le tiss was a good bet for first scorer but nowadays don't bother. Just take a short price on the home win if you're so inclined. Not always the case. For example, back In the Strachan days when Beattie scored practically all our goals and we kept a lot of clean sheets, the 1 nil and 2 nil scorecasts with Beattie scoring first was always a good bet, despite not being the most attractive price (compared to the other scorecast odds). If anyone has a Paddyy Power account, Surman to score at any time tomorrow is value at 13/2. It should really be about 7/2 - 4/1.

Verbal Kint Posted 20 March, 2009 Share Posted 20 March, 2009 my weekend footy bets are; Plymouth to beat Burnley Middlesborough to beat Stoke (to f up pompey) I think both Plymouth and Boro could be in for a hammering tomorrow... Only a couple of bets for me tomorrow, one of which will be the Half time/Full time market for the Birmingham Norwich game. Norwich to be leading at half time and birmingham to win the game. 33/1 betfair
