Master Bates Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 I like his quote on BBC "We have to pick up at least 50, 52 or 53 points and that's our goal." Don't think there's 50 points up for grabs is there
Mole Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 why?? saves us posting it The whole point of a messageboard is for people to post.

saint_bert Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 In regards to his comments, of course its must win. The more times we dont win at home it puts more emphasis on winning away. And for me the home games left are all winnable. Where as the away fixtures dont fill me with optimisum!
trousers Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 Someone turn this crap off. +1 (or at least turn off the control characters that get posted within the message text)
northam soul Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 Jesus nothing like stating the obvious ( winning will help us stay up - if we dont win this game then we must win the next one )
CB Fry Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 Jesus nothing like stating the obvious ( winning will help us stay up - if we dont win this game then we must win the next one ) What the hell is anyone supposed to say? You do realise football managers all get interviewed on the thursday/friday before a match whether they like it or not, don't you? It's not managers deciding they want to speak to the world because they have something illuminating to say. Seriously, it's just rent-a-quote.
Torres Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 Someone turn this crap off. It seems to be annoying Stanley. That's a pretty good reason for leaving it on, if not increasing it.
Scudamore Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 Saints News Update gets my vote for best newcomer
Danny Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 Someone turn this crap off. You could just not look at it. Or add it to your ignore list. Still, I'm going to read and comment on all of them, so they stay near the top.

St Marco Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 QPR game is a must win game. Wotte is just trying to remove a bit of pressure from it really. QPR are the worst form side in the league currently, have not won for something like 10 games? In fighting in the camp with people falling out, rumours flying around that the manager will be sacked and replaced with Ince. Add to all that they have quite a few injuries and are playing away. This is the best possible time for us to be playing them. What makes it a must win game is that if we lose the game (which i don't think we will) then we have only 3 home games of the 8 games left. We would need to win probably 5 of the 8 games and again that just makes things harder for us. With Blackpool and Barnsley playing each other someone or even both will gain point/s over us if we lose.
West End Saint Posted 13 March, 2009 Posted 13 March, 2009 Every home game in this league is must win especialy now against QPR who are on a terrible run having only drawn against Derby nothing less than a win will do to give us some confidence to go to Blackpool and get something if we are going to stay up I think we need at least 4 wins from somewhere and tomorrow needs to be 1 of them
