The Multi multi millionaire Coldplay drummer, Will Champion on Saints relegation battle and avoiding the drop.

Finally, let's talk about your beloved Southampton FC. They're not doing very well, are they?

Well you say that Mr Anchorman, but we won three in a row before we lost to Birmingham this weekend. So, from reading our last rites a few weeks ago, when I thought this was the season we'd finally go down again, we've had a mini-resurgence and it's all looking a bit brighter. I think Charlton are pretty much down. Then it's two from Norwich, Southampton, Barnsley, Blackpool and Forest. It could be interesting.

Do you think they'll stay up?

If you'd asked me two weeks ago, I'd have said definitely not. Now, I feel like there's a chance. For my entire life we've been the masters of avoiding relegation. So, fingers crossed, we can avoid it again.

Get you hands in your pockets Mr Champion. Your club need you...Well, your money. lol

Hmmm

I wonder if he posts on here or logs in to the match fred when touring.....

anyone been posting unusually from Australia the last couple of days?

Trousers - get to work!

Oh and just because he's made some money think he'd rather give it to Stanford or Madoff than Rupe's & co

Well no one in their right mind would give it to Rupes with his track record of destroying wealth

Perhaps he had a rush of blood to the head?

He actually said "finally go down again", its the"again" part that is significant.

I wonder if Will thinks we will get Parachutes payments in League One

He really ought to tell the rest of the band that a free gig at SMS with all proceeds to SFC would be a good idea. If they insist on a return gig at Stamford Bridge that would be a small price to pay.

Knowing that the drummer from Coldplay cares about the club sure does make me feel bad about myself.

At least he has the decency to look vaguely embarrassed of Chris Martin in interviews.

Yes, the finally bit did grate somewhat with me too. There's been no finally in this division. We've only been here 5 mnutes, and already we're not quite good enough for it.

Life in the championship has moved on from finding a millionaire - we need a billionaire. Unfortunately Will's money wouldn't make much of a dent in the debt but fair play to the fella. He clearly follows and is passionate about saints.

Blimey, if he invested £50 in Saints it would be £50 more than Lowe or Wilde.

BBC Just had an interview with Jonathan Wilkes and talked about Port Vale's financial struggle to stay afloat. Asked why his buddy Robbie Williams doesn't help out as "he's got a few bob". Wilkes said that he has and he does what he can but when the choice is a new LB or saving a childs life, there's only one choice. (New LB at Port Vale, coming soon then! ;)).

Well then, simple....

Michael Jackson is making a sell-out comeback - so that's the welfare of the kids taken care of.

Gary Barlow hired a private jet to save the rest of the planet and climb a mountain.

Ergo, Will can use his spare dosh on us and he won't have a to worry about his conscience.

See easy wasn't it

No real surprise that he still cares after all he is a fan like you and I (albeit considerably richer). He and his Dad sit in the Kingsland.

No, he spent it all on a new mansion in Compton Bassett here in sunny Wiltshire.

So he can be within walking distance of Clouds house.....

Who was that person on Saints Forever that was a bit like that? Was it Rory?

I refer you to this thread...which should be be renamed "I listen to more eclectic and obscure music than you"

Truth be told i like all kinds of music that i'm sure few on here have heard of...but talking about it seems a little futile...

And every now and again i see one of Rory's glowing reviews and get caught up in the moment and go and check it out on Youtube...and then realise i f::cking hate 99% of indy music...and have done since i was about eighteen...

IF your reading this Will, can you sort me some tickets for your gig with Jay-Z at wembley. You were really good at the O2 and you should definitely sing more!
