the saint in winchester Posted 20 March, 2009 Posted 20 March, 2009 Just a quick question. I've not been around for some time, but how do you get from Winchester to Paddington without a fair detour? Not being smart, just curious. Train 1 : Winchester to Reading Train 2 : Reading to London Paddington
the saint in winchester Posted 20 March, 2009 Posted 20 March, 2009 Change ar t reading, not suer if it incurs extra cost, but there are four or five trains an hour on the route, so no long waits. You just ask at the station (Winchester, Southampton, wherever you leave from) for London with travelcard. What circuitous route you choose to take is up to you then.
Mr X Posted 20 March, 2009 Posted 20 March, 2009 I don't think there will be anything riding on the last game this time, I reckon our fate will allready be sealed by then (either way)
dubsaint Posted 21 March, 2009 Posted 21 March, 2009 I was just wondering what sort of turn out we will get for this trip.....If..... We need either a point or three to stay up. Im not sure what our allocation for the game is, but wondered if this game could see masses of Saints fans travel up just at the spur of the moment... I know the turn out we had at Dellhurst park can never be repeated but I think this game could possibly see a few of the Old boys out on the lash.... Has anyone any thoughts on its potential to be a sort of Great Escape day out at this stage we will either be safe or down so this game wont matter

Baring in mind with the events of this week, this game could turn out to be the very last game by SFC as we know it.... WILL SAINTS FANS TAKE OVER THE STREETS OF NOTTINGHAM ON THE LAST DAY OF THE SEASON....? WILL MORE OF YOU NOW BE COMING WITH OR WITHOUT TICKETS ? THE CAMERA'S ARE SURE TO BE OUT & ABOUT LETS GET THE PUBLICITY OF THE CLUB OUT TO POTENTIAL INVESTORS.....

THE CAMERA'S ARE SURE TO BE OUT & ABOUT LETS GET THE PUBLICITY OF THE CLUB OUT TO POTENTIAL INVESTORS..... I was already organising 2 minibuses from Salisbury for this one, even before this weeks events, and think even more will want to go now. I've been told by David Luker that we will be getting 4300 tickets for this game and with the number of people I know who want ticket I don't think that number will be sufficient, and I think tickets will be like goldust once they go on sale. Im sure that many fans will end up disappointed, but there are already contingency plans for a beam back to St Mary's if necessary.
Chez Posted 3 April, 2009 Posted 3 April, 2009 Still we should get 3000 minimum (being approx 10% of 30600) I thought they reduced the capacity a little this season to save themselves some money. There were 29,000 at the Derby game.

Now I'm regretting buying on the day for most of the away games I've been to.

Griffo Posted 10 April, 2009 Posted 10 April, 2009 Oh, ****! Blackstock is on loan at Forest for the rest of the season.. I think we all know what's going to happen..
