And then you come into the main forum and say exactly the same thing. Do you actually consider any answers that may differ from you own opinions..? So constructive and eloquent, I'm surprised anyone could find a counter argument to that one

Prior to saintsweb, the server would completely shut down, EVERY game, and require multiple reboots just to view *something*. As far as I am aware, yes at the moment it gets slow, but today it was fine, in fact, the server has only crashed ONCE this season. It's funny how quickly people forget how bad things were. We are trying lots of different things to increase performance, but the fact of the matter is we have to wait for match day to come around before we can test new config settings / improvements, but people want solutions now now NOW But things were "ok" on here (Saintsweb forum) until about Christmas/new year time at which point (I believe) the server/provider was moved to the USA from the UK. Can't we just go back to where we were when saintsweb first started?

Can't we just go back to where we were when saintsweb first started? I think it was actually moved from a US host to a UK based host. Perhaps the weak £ was a factor in this move?

It's not always that easy for some, for all sorts of perfectly valid reasons. So they (I) rely on this site for up to date information.

I wouldn't have said anything without the above comment, but similarly i would never wish to be associated with you. Ever since you pasted up the Keith/Amy emails (despite my request that this wasn't done) i've had a very low opinion of you. Also the way you betrayed St. Jasons trust the other week was pretty low imo.

Is this really how some of you keep updated with the match? Why don't you just listen to it on the radio/saintstv/other link? Are you really all coming on and constantly refreshing just to read "throw in to saints", "oooh, Mcgoldrick nearly scored" "1-0 saints yeeeesssssssss, Saga" or "Forest losing 3-2" All of the updates can be obtained better somewhere else. Match threads are always crap, even when they work.

I do however go nuts at Virgin who I pay £70 a month to and my internet, TV on demand etc... goes down at least twice a week without a permanent solution to date other then the one i'm about to make by switching provider, will Virgin miss my £70 a month ? doubt it, will Baj & this site miss Stanleys £5 a year ????? answers on an e-card to http://www.iwishmyownsitewasaspopularasthisone.com

Match threads are always crap, even when they work. Errr thanks for that - Forum - like minded people discussing any number of topics. In our case whats happening at the match. Some of us cannot get local radio links due to where we live and work, therefore it is helpful to have the match thread to at least get some idea from others how we are doing.

It was Jillstain who posted "BANG WRONG" and she is well known for getting things completely wrong. Nothing peculiar about canvassing proper opinions. I can only assume you're still trying to get in her knickers even though, as she never seems to tire of telling everyone at every opportunity, she is getting married to some poor mug in summer.

I have been housebound for 3 years now and the internet is the only way I can keep in touch with the outside world. I rarely get visitors and use SWF to follow the games and news. Despite the abyssmal service and poor customer relations, I will NOT be asking for a refund because I appreciate any form of human contact, even cyber human contact.

Allot of people manage to say things to get others backs up and IMO Stanley started the debate off with less than helpful comments that surprise surprise wind people up and get a reaction. not saying what followed was right but just think what started it wasnt helpful at all.

It was working 'ok' before then....We seem to be trying to dig ourselves out of a hole that we dug ourselves in the first place? (sorry for asking this ad infinitum. There's a fair chance that an answer will shut me up though.... )
