It certainly is a sick and unfair world isn't it, if there was a God then this accident would have been with Mugabe.

 

As for WC comments about oil, I doubt it's got anything to do with oil, it runs a lot deeper than that and the UK and other European countries will be reluctant to step in as it could potentially do more harm; in the short term anyway due to the obvious history.

 

I think it's about time that an African country got off their moral high horse and actually did something about the situation.

 

What's happened to Mandela, can't he do something constructive? Surely he has some clout in the African region?

 

What are South Africa doing about the situation?

 

A lot of questions, as usual, I guess the answers are never simple though.

The civilised world did do something about Africa - Cecil Rhodes (my hero) totally transformed the region. Rhodesia has gone from being the bread basket of Africa to the basket case of Africa since 1980. If millitary intervention by British forces was to restore land back to white farmers then i'd be in favour, but if this isn't a condition intervention is pointless as it'll achieve nothing.

I understand that white farmers are being prosecuated, but we can't just go in there and restore white rule or give land back to the whites just because they are white.

Its not giving it back just because of there color, When the magarbe gang got shot of the landowners and industry bosses (who just happened to be the white south Africans,) He got rid of all the employment which was keeping the country alive, Now I'm not being racial be for the do gooders jump on me but The colored natives haven't got the nous or the brains (in that i mean experience) to run a p*sup in a brewery) Instead of being the Bread Basket they are now just a wasteland. How many white south africans do you know that have now fled back here - loads is the answer. The blacks are still there and so they bloody should be. The amount of times I have heard people in Southampton etc claim 'the indians/polish/etc' are taking our jobs, just remember what the whites did to the africans ffs.

Before the Black tribes, were the English, before the English, it was the Dutch, and before them, it was the Hottentots.......a friendy Brown people. Alas, like all things, history gets muddled by the do gooders. The Black tribes swept down from central Africa, and wiped out whole tribes that stood in their way. Yup.............Monk on, ie not talking, as in Monk.......Used in the Army a lot. I will access her acceptability when I get in off of night's, one cold hand will tell me all....lol
