Anyone used them? Any horror stories?

 

Thinking about renting a couple of cars through them in Alicante this summer.

Only bad news I've heard regarding them is the huge wait to pick up the car at the airport. Sometimes up to 2 hours if you are last off the plane.

Yep - we had the same problem with them at Malaga

Rather than a private rental BTF, I would have thought you would have used public transport.....

We're flying with Flybe, so presumably not too big a plane therefore queues may not be as bad. As long as loads of other flights don't turn up at the same time I guess. Could always send a couple of people on to pick up the car while others waited for luggage I suppose.

It WAS about 5 years ago (and now I think about it, I don't think we used Easycar anyway - I may be getting confused with Eurocar or something similar LOL)

 

I don't think I've flown anywhere in since then (for holidays that is - I did have to fly to Sarajevo about 2 years ago for work reasons). We always go by train these days.

I remember them and I'm only 21 (ish).

 

Always thought they were Greek for some reason.
